Love comes from years of breathing
skin to skin
Tangles in each other's dreams
until each night
weaves another thread
in the same web of love and passion
And i have only passed through you
quickly like light
And you have only surrounded me
suddenly like a flame
you and i
are as different
as night and day
but you are as much a part of me
as the air i breathe
each breath i take
i am reminded

POETRY: SHE, THE MUSIC OF MY SONG

Pushing through the suffocating calamity of the crowd
Quick, stifling, turbulent, emotionless, aggrivating, hollow and loud

The faces blurred and taunting, the words unclear and screeching
The images breed a haunting, the people lost, alone... beseeching

My face begins to numb, its features slowly begin to fade
I'm fighting to salavge what's left of me, forced into a bed I've not made

Within the rapid struggle to suffice, I see her standing there
Frozen, knowing nothing more of movement, time or air

Tainted outlines swarming by but her and I stand- remaining still
My heart for the first time begins to beat; for the first time I can feel

I hear her whisper amongst the crowd, its melody embracing me
Her face vibrantly vivid, picturesque beauty in epitomy

As I draw near I know nothing of fear, gently reaching out my hand
The soft touch of her skin fills me within, driven by a new demand

The chaotic surrounding begins to dissipate; I hold on to her porcelain frame
Precious, fragile, irreplaceable- she is my salvation if only one name

Saved from the empty masses, she and I together as one
Without her- just another captured blur, outdone and overrun

JOURNAL YOU JUST HIT THE JACKPOT

Because, that’s the thing about love, really. No one will love you how you want to be loved, they’ll love you in the only ways they know how. Life throws everyone down drastically different paths so how can we expect everyone to love in the same way? The person you’ll spend your lifetime with will love you in their way and you’ll love in yours, and maybe you’ll meet in the middle and it’ll last. None of us know what we’re doing, you see, we’re just fumbling for matches in the dark. If you’re lucky, you might eventually just strike the right one.

JOURNAL:ANDREW MADOFF- Bernie Madoff's Son ( ANDY MADOFF) .

Just like everyone else....I read about Bernie Madoff defrauding thousands of investors in every newspaper last year and how he was convicted of operating a Ponzi scheme that has been called the largest investor fraud ever committed by a single person. It didn't connect to me that his son was my classmate in high school until read the article in Vanity-Fair (Did The Mandoff Son Know?) We didn't know him as Andrew but as Andy.

What do I remember of about him? He was arrogant, thought he knew everything, and wasn't a nice guy. I knew he had money then...but I didn't know how much. He had one of our most beautiful classmate as his girlfriend...(I am sure because of his money) He wasn't friendly to me...He worked for the Beacon (the school newpapers) He would put his friends on their. He would never talk me because he thought he was better than me. He saw the injustice of what other kids did to me and stood by and did nothing. I wanted to kill myself because the emotional pain they put me through. He had a sense of entitlement because of his father. I am sure he never worked a day in his life...everything was given to him.

JOURNAL Jonathan Tolins- I KNEW HIM WHEN

I knew Jonathan Tolins when he was young. As an actor, he was amazing. As a writer, he is OK. As a person...he leave much to be desired.

He reminds me of a character Eugene, in Biloxi Blues screenplay by Neil Simon.

Eugene Morris Jerome: Why is it that we come from the same place but I can't understand you?
Arnold Epstein: You're a witness. You're always standing around watching what's happening, scribbling in your book what other people do. You have to get in the middle of it. You have to take sides. Make a contribution to the fight.

Arnold Epstein: Any fight. One you believe in. Until you do you'll never be a writer Eugene.


Joanathan Tolins would watch other people hurt me...and do nothing. I was not Jewish ...hence i was isolated, made fun off, beaten up...ect. I was suicidal in high school. The last time I actually saw him was graduation day. I went up to him to shake his hand and wish him luck and he shock my hand and looked away...like he was ashamed at me or thought i had some disease. I never forgot that to this day. I hurt me alot.

What I don't understand is that he was gay even then. And homosexuality wasn't accepted as it is now. If anyone who can feel my pain and prosecution..it would be him. but like Eugene in Biloxi Blues..he just watched..and only focus only on himself. If I saw injustice I would step in....no matter what the reason and consequence. And I believe until John really get involves when he see injustice he will never be a great writer or even screenwriter.(and yes..I did the movies he wrote and also went to his play he wrote off-broadway.

how familiar must she be
for me to forget i love her?

if i memorize the lines of her face,
or muss her hair,
or step on her toes,
will i begin to love him less
than how she comes to me,
threadbare and weatherbeaten,
in utter vulnerability?

would loving her less bring me home,
or is my home with that
tender moment of surrender
her eyes will never see...
the look i allow myself in darkness
or between shadows of changing light,
swept up in forevers
no one would ever make me admit
existed?

if i glow today, it's simply
because she looked my way.
such plainest of things
make way to my soul
with a childlike certainty
and not without the faintest wonder.
some things, i guess,
will just grow old with me...
like religion, or gravity,
things turn into laws,
and become as wind,
as fire, as God...
how can there be so much beyondness
to this simplicity?

she comes to me
as a child comes in from the cold.

for as long as my self-defenses steel me.
there is a sweetness to being needed
for the wrong reasons
and in spite of false dreams.
she just has no idea
how at night i creep
under covers alone,
burning in melancholy.

i thought of turning back
watching her form in the rear view mirror
as i drove away
slowly fading in tears and rain
the road ahead dark, ominous, undetermined
a road taken for reasons yet to be answered
she said she loved me when we parted
her arms enveloped me
a kiss and a tear on my cheek
our promise to keep in touch
then feeling the cold damp air
replacing her embrace as i left
days and nights of loving only her
seem like someone else's dream now
winding through the countryside
shadowy figures appear beside me
through the glare in the windshield
from an occasional passing car
hearing an eerie beckoning from the wind~
words that were never spoken or heard?
choices made have come to fruition
but in this love story there would be none
and the farther i drove away from her
the closer i drive to a conclusion~
broken circle...

There she was lying on the bed, an image of pure beauty.
I had seen this before a thousand times in my dreams,
but this time it was real.
Her hair was just the way I imagined it in sort of this up swept style,
her hazel eyes gazing at me with this incredible longing.
She whispers to me as if we are not alone,
but yet I feel that we are the only two people in the world.
She motions me over to her,
and I comply like some sort of helpless puppy looking
for some master to greet me with loving hands.
I am so obedient and loyal to her.
She tells me things I have been waiting to hear all my life,
she holds me with such emphasis that I can not let go.
She strokes my hair with gentle hands and asks me if I love her,
my heart sinks into my chest as I answer,
"yes, my darling, you are my heart."
I have never felt anything this deeply,
and I wonder if this will truly last.
Sweet kisses are exchanged as I move down her neck with my lips.
I feel her breath getting shorter and my heart beating faster.
Maybe this is it, true love, as they say,
all I know is this is the day I figured out
what passion lies deep within my heart,
and if this love doesn't last at least I know the memory of it will.

POETRY: LONGING TO BE AWAKENED

The Old Oak
 in the middle of the field.
 A proud and gentle old oak,
 standing straight up with his leaves reaching for the sky,
 screaming for tenderness and love,
 but no one there to fulfill his thoughts.

 He exposed himself to the deep blue sky
 with his feelings hidden deep inside,
 his roots deep in the ground searching
 for food, food for his heart.

 September came, with it the fall
 color of the leaves changed into red
 and brown. It looks like a big fiesta;
 these beautifull colors of all dying goods.

 The sky turned to grey and dark
 clouds where circling around waiting
 for the lightning to strike.
 A beautiful girl came by,
 walking gently across the field,
 thinking of all daily things.

 There was the light, flame, thunder!
 It hit the old oak and he cried from pain.
 He tried to scream for help,
 but something held his tongue, he could not speak.
 His once so strong leaves now hanging down,
 reaching for her.
 The heart of the oak, still burning from the lightning's fire.
 Once again it hits him, and splits him in two.
 But still standing up... no one can tear him down.
 The presence of someone near makes him feel proud and happy.
 The victory of his thoughts were stronger than the power of lightning.
 He felt stronger than ever, and his leaves
 went up, reaching for the sky again.
 Deep inside him the fire was still there,
 but it felt different, it did not hurt any more.

 He felt free and relieved by knowing someone cares.
 The weather cleared up and the sun started to shine,
 there was this party with colors of love, tenderness and understanding.
 The old oak stood still with his leaves reaching for the sky again...
 waiting for them to fall,
 but picked up by someone like you,
 who kept them close in a secret place.
 No one will know, and there is the field...
 in the middle, the old oak still standing proud and straight

 There are fears so many that are being held within our minds,

 But there are fears of terror that wait for their chance, to haunt
 your life, and your soul many times over if they can.
 Now the greatest fear that I must face
 is the one of being all alone,

My love is so near to my heart
 Wanting to be with her
 My life is empty, since we are apart
 I need to hold my love in my arms
 I miss her so,
 needing her love soon
 to mend my heart
 to brighten my days
 And to feel her love through the night
 If this could be my reality

If I had my way, there would be no clocks, watches or calendars;
 No places we have to go, or things we have to do -
 Just an eternity of weekends and days together.
 Time enough to take long looks into those beautiful blue eyes,

 Time enough to talk and listen and hold you in a lingering embrace.
 If I had my way, there would finally be enough time to love you
