POETRY: THERE ARE SO MANY......

My love is all I have to give
To any in this world.
Many have rejected it and
Many have come toward.

I have loved her my whole life,
Even with her world full of pain.
Denial was the enemy
Is this what made it end?

Many say that the timing was not right,
I do not think this so.
Many lessons learned,
Do I really have to go?

Have I lost in love?
I will never really know.
My heart is always with her,
No matter where she will go.

I was there when others ran away,
To the places they felt safe.
While I stood proud and strong,
To weather out the storm.

Is this part of the greatest of plans
Or our own will that has gone wrong?
I wait for my answers,
Once again ready for the storm.

I promised my heart to her,
This I freely gave.
I have truly given unconditional love,
And my life was finally saved.

Until now I can still reminisce
The happy, sweet memories
The times that we're always together
And hope it will be forever
Together, we made a promise
That I'll forever cherish
We said we would never be apart
And won?t tear each other?s heart
That time I know for sure
That your love is eternal and pure
I've realized you really love me
That you won?t ever set me free
But suddenly all changed
Everything seems so strange
You told me you don't love me anymore
It isn?t just like before
Upon hearing, my heart broke into two
I don't even know what to do
Will I cry, will I be angry?
Or the contrast, will I be happy?
Sadly, I let you go
But until now I want you to know
That my love for you won't fade
Because of the promise we've made.

There are so many days
and countless hours I wish
for your heart to be mine.

There are so many dawnings
and burning sunsets
I pray for your hand in mine.

There are so many days I see you
and admire your beauty from afar,
but I dare not make a move to bridge the distance
to such an unreachable star.

There are so many days I reach out for you,
but my love you will never see.
I am only a mystery lurking in the shadows
and there I shall always be.

My destiny rides on the wings of your heart
Where 'er you may go, when 'er you depart...

In the quiet of morning you come to my mind
As I lie warm and peaceful and drink the sun's wine.
Then daily you plague my corners of thought
With the mem'ries of love your companionship's brought;
And, at night you possess my whole body and soul--
I wrap up in blankets, pretend you're there to hold.

No matter how near and no matter how far
I'm always right with you, wherever you are...

Loving you only, defying the doors
Which keep me away from the Love I adore.
So, when I say now that my destiny rides
On the wings of your heart, believe it; besides...
If only in thought it's far better than none--

Like a burning fire in the coldest of winters,
You gave my body the heat I never thought could heal;
Splendid, calming, refreshingly sweet,
You create in me this fast-healing warmth.

Like a rose planted near the river bank,
You watered my soul with indescribable joy;
Growing, yielding, ever-bearing fruits,
You fill my days with peace that has no end.

Like a newborn baby in the arms of his mother,
You gave me love that is fresh and deep reaching;
Enlivening, revealing, ever-inspiring affection,
You turn my cold mourning into blissful dancing.

Like a mystery revealed in midnight dreams,
You gave my life an everlasting new meaning;
Enlightened, growing, alive and still breathing,
You?re my beginning... your love is never-ending.

Like a warrior endowed with true victory,
You bless my heart with unquestionable trust;
Stable, confident, and ever hopeful,
As I shed these tears of passion for you.

All that is wonderful in this world

Such peace you bring to the sea
I see warm waters in your heart

This happiness has no end

Of all the things I see in you
And the many wonders in your eyes I see
I hope to be blessed with you
To look in your eyes and always see me

Can you see the flame burning,
it's in my window every night.
Along with the flame in my heart,
However it burns day and night.
Continuously,
it burns hotter day after day.
The flame is so warm,
it scorchs my soul.
It burns with the desire
of being with you.
For one day the candle in the window
will guide you to me and safety.
Can you see it burning for you,
are you guided my way?
Do you feel the warmth of it,
has it warmed your soul as well?
I feel so close no matter the distance.
However,
I hope this flame guides you to me
and the warmth of a precious life together.
Follow the flame of this candle and this love,
and join me in a harmonious life together!

Here is my gentle breeze,
Slowly brushing your hair and touching it?s sweet skin.
Let my steady, soft wind put you at ease,
And to your lungs, slowly make its way in.
Just sit calmly take a deep breath.
I promise, no stagnant odors will there be.
Only the beautiful smell of flowers on a wreath,
Could ever be good enough for a girl of your beauty.

I?m not as harsh as Santanna?s winds
Or as persistent as the prevailing westerly.
But I'll make sure my breeze is, certainly, no whim.
And never be the cause of your misery.
You might get tired of me after a while,
That's okay, I can play the game too,
I'll keep it up mile after mile,
Until you, finally say:? I love you.?

There?s a place, so far yet so near
in mists of time its call you hear,
echos your heart the name is clear
where all things you hold so dear in your mind

the smell of spice entreats your return to paradise
graceful palms against the sky
setting sun on mountains high
huge golden clouds drifting by
on an ocean breeze, a lover?s sigh

this rising moon in mystic shine
paints her love inside your mind
by blue lagoon in moonlight dance
with shining stars in cosmic stance
the laughing splash of the waterfall
in the rainbow mist her sirens call
moonlit sands bright starry skies
shines heaven?s lights in her eyes
flowing cascades, night silken hair
crowning flower, and shoulders bare

rise of her breathe past parted lips
the sensual feel of soft fingertips
her body of love in moon silhouette
overwhelms your heart in pain, regret
by a distant shore seagulls in flight
you dream of her in tropic night
in ancient art, hands signs comply
her graceful fingers tell stories why
of sand and sea an adventure high
for in your heart this remorseful sigh
tonight in rolling surf you stand, cry

you left her arms for fortunes call
in dead of night on building squall
then, fame, fortune, ego your creed
ignored her essential love and need
in roaring seas in waves like walls
drove your tiny ship a sturdy yawl
winds of fury did shriek and howl
as crew and all felt deaths icy cowl
the ship did roll in waters cold grave
in Davy Jones grip , but one saved
your spinning head clears on a beach
this deserted isle so far from reach
parched lips thirst with hunger groan
no charts or maps to find a way home

There's a place so far yet so near
in mists of time its call you hear
echos your heart the name is clear
where all things you hold so dear
in your mind the smell of spice
entreats your return to paradise

In my soul I can feel you

Within me I seek the knowledge of you

I long the more to understand you

Amid cheerfulness and tranquility
You reaches the realm of inaccessible
Beyond all that physical senses could conceive
You dwell in life-delighting heaven
Imagining out of all sense and reason
You strike the mind with uncontrollable mystery
Inapprehensible you'll ever remain
And I'll ever be drawn close to you

What would people do,
If today they heard I died?
How many people would laugh,
And how many people would cry?

Would they try to hold it in,
Pretend that they were strong?
Or if they didn't cry at all,
Would they think that they were wrong?

What about the first woman in my life,
Would she shed a tear at all?
Or would she not know how to take it,
And on the ground she'd fall?

I wonder how many people would be in shock,
Now that my life has been erased.
Would the places that I once filled
Stay empty, or would I be replaced?

I wonder who would jump for joy?
How my teachers would react.
Or how many people I never knew,
Upon whose lives I have impact?

Would people show their feelings at all,
Or would they have too much pride?
How many people would say they love me,
Finally, on the day I died.
