POETRY:AT NIGHTS I REMINISCE HOW WE WERE TOGETHER IN BLISS

Trapped in a box like a wild furry soul 
I had to get out on my own, to gain control
I had no idea there and then 
the love I was losing was lost till the end 

wings left unclipped decided to fly 
to see the world, before the world left me by 
a solemn journey filled with persistant dreams 
to find my meaning, be all I could be 
who knew this choice would lead me to cry 
of love lost, bringing me down on my knees?

poor decisions, wrong turns made
now these wings are clipped and fly no more 
souls touch again after all these years
more butterflies and many more tears
deep down, no matter now how much I can be 
your love, unrequited, brings me down on my knees

'tis your soul that I love, your spirit, your heart 
your being there, my being here, tears me apart 
no true chance, it seems, for our reality 
because I had to find my meaning... had to find me
no longer sure of a destiny reserved 
for those with great fame and honors deserved
my purpose, it seems, is little more than a fight 
to balance good and evil, 
on my knees, I will be... loving you till the end

To breathe again

With just a few sweet words and the touch of your hand you've 
reminded me...

How good it feels, when your heart pounds so hard you think it's 
going to jump out of your chest, and to hold back shaking from 
the anticipation of a kiss.
I watch you walk across the room, waiting.
You walk towards me - I take a long hard breath - 
You lean in - Kiss me
Feels so sweet...
Your gentle and kind ways have awakened 
the inside of my heart's dream of finding
someone like you...
Your kiss has reminded me how much I miss lips against mine
Your touch has reminded me how it feels to start to fall in love
You have reminded me how love hurts. 
How I do not want to feel this way
again. How I do not want to experience another broken heart.
But what can I do, you've reminded my heart 
how it feels to love again.
And my heart wins...

Love is the key to happiness,
It conqures all presures of life,
It can mend a bleeding heart,
Or, it can break one,
It is like a feather in the breeze of life,
Lifting you to the heavens,
When you find your feather,
Become that feather,
Let the breeze of life float you away.

In my sleep
I dream of a girl 
and she looks just like you do tonight
As I lay by her side
wishing all hands could stop time
from blowing by at night
It's a dream that you never let go 
it stayed in my mind all the time

It couldn't be real
it was just a dream
but still I wanted to believe
I'd find you some day

Then one day 
I saw from afar
you sitting down all by yourself
lonely in the dark
I coudn't believe it happened to me
I'd finally found the girl
that was in my dream

I streched out my arms
you then came to me
It felt just like
it did in the dream

I remember the warmth
the love that I felt
It was then that my heart
started to melt

Now that we're together
My life is complete
When I look into your eyes 
I see the girl from The Dream

If I had another life to live,
A world of riches and possessions,
Of power and influence beyond belief,
Where everyday I had it all,
Everything I could ever ask for in life,
Except you to call you my very own.

Then, I could never accept that life,
Without your love to sustain
I could not live or thrive,
With wealth and power beyond belief,
A world like that could never be
A life I'd ever want to live.

Every time I look at you,
I got a feeling deep and true.

I wonder if you
feel the same?
In my dreams
I call your name.

This feeling in my heart
is getting stronger.
How can I get close to you?
It is hard for me to find a clue.

I long for you because you are my desire.
I want to make a dream come true;
This dream about me and you.
But how can I ever lie to your fire?

How deeply do I love you?
From the deepest depths of my soul.
Can I ever leave you?
I could never let you go!
Can I resist your warm embrace?
Not in a million years...

I live to see your loving face,
You wipe away my tears.
When I wake up to the morning light,
I love to feel you by my side.

And when I go to bed at night,
I feel no need to hide.
You are my life, my soul,
And most of all, my best friend.
And how long will I love you?
Until the dying end!

Everyday my eyes are awake with you in my mind
Your tender love always keeps me so blind
I wanna light up your face with happiness
And erase every single trace of sadness
Just to be sure you're always embraced

I wanna hold your hands and take you to foreign lands
Making sure you're living nice feeling like you're in paradise
You and me are a team that can together live our dream
I think of you and me and how things should be
That's you and me together living our dream

At nights I reminisce how we were together in bliss
Hearing your voice and imagining your sweet kiss
No one can feel for you the way I do
You've faced closed doors and are sore
So let me be yours and you will always see open doors

I look at you and analyze the thoughts that make me wonder 
I diagnose them carefully as I set alone in sombre.
I observe you from afar; yet I know I must forbear 
all my unsure feelings I am longing to declare.
I want to please you, relieve you, touch you and take you
but I face the day with a glow of confidence. 
The morning smells sweet and replete 
all the more alone half-hearted, barely competent. 
Yet with the feelings that things may change, 
I am complete somewhat...

What I wouldn't give
to feel your touch
to be in your arms
to feel your lips against mine

What I wouldn't give
just to hold your hand 
or lay with you watching t.v.
or listening to music

I would give anything
to be with you right now
to feel all those things
and do everything

Just to be with you
is all I want
because you make me feel
safe and secure

I get so calm and relaxed 
the moment you say, "heya"
that I forget everything
around me

Oh, what I wouldn't give 
to feel that every minute...
for what you do to me
is... is unexplainable in so many ways

I'm falling to through the atmosphere,
Through the clouds waiting for your call, 
but in no direction do I know in which to fall, 
All I hear, is what does not travel through sound, 
But I feel no need to feel the vibrations of your voice 
For the depth of your every word carrries me now through the clouds, 
Where the romance in your mind keeps me a float

Circling the earth searching for more, 
Who could possibly have the Dialect, the Passion that you hold true? 
But nowhere is there a man who has touched me, no one, 
But now you. How?

Fallin' am I
Through the sky, as I am wisked into the wind 
Light as a feather, 
the way I feel now just deep within,
Emotions overbearing the physical touch,
Something to cherish,
Something that makes my body ache within, 
as I yearn for your next word, I cringe
The power of your mind compels me...the Passion of your heart 
only directs me to a never ending destination...

But-
I'm falling, not knowing Who, Why or How 

I've fallen to the ground and I feel your romantic spirit running 
through my body, 
A feeling that had never begun to cease' 

I've fallen to the depths,
Only to the depths of my soul, wondering how I've fallen into 
something that is almost too good to know-

I've fallen to you,
Falling of you, Anyway or Explanation will do, 
Just know that my romantic spirit has fallen...so 
Don't let me fall astray from you!
