POETRY:A DREAM

Because you live to love me, I truly see,
That there's no other on this earth, made just for me,
And if you ever feel I've hurt you, without a shadow of a doubt,
You must tell me, my Love, so we can talk the pain out,
Because you'll never find a love like mine, 
if you searched through all your years,
And if I'm given a chance you know, Sweetheart, 
that I'll dry all your tears,
For I possess the greatest gift, that life can give,
Because you live to love me, I love to live.

Because you live to love me, please give me a chance,
To discuss any pain or fears, in any circumstance,
I know I'll make mistakes at times, it's just human, you know,
But it won't be because for you, I didn't let my love show,
Some silly thing I might say or do, it's bound to happen, somehow,
And when it does, please talk to me, it's never better later than now,
For I possess the greatest gift, that life can give,
Because you live to love me, I love to live.

For I live to love you, with every beat of my heart,
You've been everything I ever wanted, right from the start,
I could live my life for you, forever and a day,
Don't think there will ever come a time, I'd enjoy you away,
For loving you is what I do best, Honey, you'll always see,
That I'll always live to love you, through all eternity,
For I possess the greatest gift, that life can give,

Sunday morning in a
cozy room, pensive thoughts
Sounds of a radio, playing
melancholy, music
Strains of sensual guitar
strings, and pounding
drumbeats, sadness
Soft voices echoing through
the seductive stillness of the room
Together in love with the
morning light, sorrowful
Golden shadows through
the curtain cracks
Thinking of loving and
relaxing, reflectively sad
Loving your loveliness,
smiling, warm body glow
Sad, but together,
joined in our weariness
Languishingly loving

Loving thoughts together
in the tranquil glow
of a sinking sun.
Sizzling as it immerses itself
As the dark night closes
in around us, caressing
A warm stillness, an audible
sensual sighing.
Walking arm in arm, slowly, 
barefoot along the shore.
Wavelets of warm sea
essence, kissing our feet.
Eyes, longingly wanting
to suspend time in
this paradise, the last frontier.
Wishing we could stay
forever together, locked
in each others gaze;
Warmed by the sea
and guided by
the southern sky.
Dreamily kicking at
the wet sand
in our loving thoughts.

Love is the medicine that heals the broken soul
Let it inside, to flow and make you whole
Let it inside, to heal, guide, and protect
Your mind will rejoice, your heart won't object

Don't keep it to yourself, not sharing it, ashamed
For anyone knows- a lonely heart can't be tamed
When the night falls darker than ever before
Love will find you and let you cry no more

When the storm rages, bringing unwelcome fears
Call on love to dry the thundering tears
You ask me how I know and all these things I'm sure of
Because I have faith and hope in everlasting love

Softly, softly, your voice
on the telephone
Sweetly whispering your
longings, yearnings
Quietly telling me about
the day... your life
Small things, irritating events
Your life suddenly before me
in all its vivid dissection

But quietly, so quietly you
tell me
It enters my very soul
like a smooth sheet
of ocean water
Moving smoothly,
determined, up the fine sandy beach
Into my very heart,
it penetrates, deeply

Your pain, your passions,
your poetry, I submit
It submerges me in the
wealth, the complexity
of your being, ecstasy
Quietly, so quietly, speaking,
your messages enter
my eternity
Ever changed by your imagery,
your experiences
Yet, softly spoken

I'm sitting here thinking about my dream.
A dream...
I see love,
I see faith,
I see trust, 
I see freedom...
All this prisoned in me,
Tears shattered, full of pain, hurt, sorrow.
How can it be???
I dream of the light,
I dream of flying.
I wonder when,
When can this prison be going,
An eternal prison?
Thinking of a way for these eyes to see,
To see this light again.
And I ask myself and God what I have done 
To deserve this prison.
I listen and listen,
And no answer is coming.
My heart is aching,
My soul is burning,
My body is weak,
My eyes are tired, tired, tired.
I close my eyes, but they open, 
Yet they're closed...
Something's burning,
Something's dying.
I see a bird flying,
And I think how happy it can be, flying away,
Running from this empty world that has no meaning.
I fly higher and higher,
I reach the clouds, 
Then I smile for how a dream can make you feel,
But still it's a dream.
Wishing it could come true,
But I know it's just a dream.
I wish I could close my eyes and dream forever,
But then I wake up,
For every dream ends as a dream...

I love you and only you
'Til death do us part
that's the vow we made
and it's true in our hearts

We'll be together for eternity
and I'll never be without you
for you are my lover, my best friend 
and my soul mate

You lend a helping hand
a shoulder to cry on
I can tell you anything
even though you're a man

I have my best friends
and you have yours
but when we all come together
could we ask for anything more?

Your friends all say you're lucky
and that's funny, because mine say the same

I can't picture my life without you
and I know you can say the same
Destiny put us in each other's arms 
and in your arms I shall remain

what really is love
is it a cover-up for total longing
or is it truly some unpredictable thing
that draws two people together

love is when you can't think
of anything but a certain person
and you can't get their smell
out of your head
when what that person says
influences you so much
that you do nothing but that one thing
over and over again

love is like orange juice
it gives you the vitamins you need
and makes you feel well again
but you must be happy to be in love
or is it technically the other way around
that you must be in love to be happy

in my opinion - it's hard to fall in love
but when it happens it hits you hard
even harder than the ways i have just described
and although it's tough to get through
i know you'll be able to do it
because if you are honestly in love
no one can hold you from it

i wonder as i gaze at the stars...
are you thinking of me where you are?
thoughts of you haze my reality,
all i can see is two words... you and me.
together in the past, imagining days to come,
what are these feelings, where did they come from?
wait...
i brace myself as visions become clear...
i release my heart i'd protected before in fear.
three words overwhelm me as i think of you...
that's the moment i realized that i love you...
something pulled us apart, but something even greater has 
pulled us together...
whichever one wins...
just know...
that you've touched my heart forever

There have been many
that I thought I loved
There have been few
That loved me.
There have been plenty
I wish I never knew.
When I look back 
On those days
I knew it was never love
Which casued them to fade away.
Then I met you
I never knew I would 
Find a love so true as ours.
Days pass, it only grows stronger,
Never fades.
In time, it will be ultimate.
Every day I smile
Because I have
You in my heart

i wanna take it slow
make it last forever
look into your eyes
and see us always together

kissing my lips
touching with sensitivity
stirring memories of nights before
when our hearts defied gravity

Something was different this time.
The sunset was more orange
and did not signify the end of the day.
The night?s cool wind was softer
and did not chill us to the bone.
Your eyes sparkled brightly this time
and looked through me rather than at me.
When you caressed my face and kissed my neck
I didn't feel your skin, but rather your love.
There was no laughing, no teasing, no joking;
just deeper kissing, deeper breathing, deeper
meaning.
Something was different this time;
this time it was real.

if I love her
my answer would be, yes
from the bottom of my heart I would say
I must confess
I couldn;t hide
because the love within me
shines on the outside

If you ask me what I would do for her
I wouldn?t know where to start
I'd climb mountains, hills and trees
swim the deepest, coldest seas
I would not doubt; I would not hesitate
I'd do it right away
not a second too late


If you ask me what I like so much about her
I wouldn't know where to begin
her smile, her eyes, her cheerful mood
the way she makes me feel so good
the way she kisses me, touches me, or holds me
a feeling we are meant to be
I have a whole list to name

If you ask me now
if I love him
I would confess
I'd look you in the eyes
and say yes!
