POETRY: IT IS YOU I WANT HERE WITH ME

I lay awake many nights thinking of you;
to only wish you were here beside me.

I hold the pillow you laid on close to me;
as if you were holding me tight.

I can smell that wonderful scent of you;
it's what I hunger for every night.

Voices run through my head;
as if you are here talking to me.

It's sad though, when I wake in the morning;
only to find you're not really here.

Dreams I will always have;
as memories will be there too.

It is you I want here with me;
for the loneliness has begun to set in,
for I am always Thinking of You.

that flows through me
Your tender touch
I crave within

No one truly knows
how I feel...
For I mean the dreams
that are coming true

Your absence hurts
like flame of fire
Thoughts of losing you
never cross my mind

I yearn for you
every day and night
For this trust we have
will ever last

The day will come
when you'll be mine
Forever in love
as husband and wife

Our minds swirl
becoming one
with the wind

fluently speaking
the silent language
favored by lovers

where neither question
nor answer exists
...or matters

where undying love
dances radiantly
in shared gazes

where we softly touch
one another with
mirrored moonbeams.

At the creation of the world
Right before heavens brought light
Or the darkness covered the earth
I have loved and cherished you
Keeping you close to my heart

Long before I opened my eyes
Out of the womb of my mother
Before I tasted the salt of life
I have seen the future between us
In love with you till I die

Right before I became a man
Before nature gave me the pride...
Before I learnt to stand on my own
While I was still crawling on the ground
I have known you to be my own
My one and only one for life

Long before I first met you
Before horizon met the ocean
Earlier than we saw eyes to eyes
Before your love struck my mind
I have dreamt and yearned for you
Knowing you're my soul-mate for life

Love burns like fire through our bodies.
Igniting our souls.
Like star-crossed lovers we are drawn to each other.

We are Destined to be together,
our love to bloom till the end of time.
This summer our lives will change
but our love will grow
even though you are miles apart from my heart.
So, take my hand down the journey of love with me.
When time stops we stop loving each other

and it's time that i confess
you're on my mind a lot
every day, i guess
sometimes i almost miss you
when you're not so near
in fact, i truly long for
the day that you'll be here
occasionally, i want you
but only now and then
well, perhaps a whole lot more
than I imagined
and there are times i need you
but only just a bit
well perhaps a whole lot more
than i really should admit
but just because i think of you
every single day
and just because i miss you
every time you go away
and just because i want you
and because i need you too
do you really think i love you
well your absolutely right

Your beauty is more incredible
than a pearl white dove
a magnificent spectacle
that captivated my love
Scared and afraid
I wanted to speak
but my fears controlled me
as I gave a kiss on the cheek
Every minute of the day
I'm thinking of you
and thanking God
for making my dreams come true
You've made me realize
how important love is
with your beautiful lips
and one memorable kiss
I anticipate the future
with my life now renewed
and look at the world differently
all because of you
you've always been there for me
and know exactly what to say

and the explosive chemistry from the meeting of our lips...

The way she moves, with her unique design
Using her as the paradigm
she infatuates, then impregnates my mind

The way her body fluctuates, my mind races to anticipate
her figure 8 body shape-
none other can duplicate

her movement is a language people understand- but don?t speak it
her geometric figure is parallel to the perimeter or secant
I shall seek it

The way she is- she's made to confuse
her stamina is just a prelude
the way she is- something they don't want to lose
she?s something you want to hold and grab

sometimes it;s sad if she's something you don't have
she?s intensified with her lips on mine
is this something that can be mystified,
or is this something that is only on the inside?
I wonder

I see her in a lot of women
She's something freely given- without her most aren?t living
even though she can be moody
her presence and nature are considered like ruby's
if you haven't guessed by now SHE is really- BEAUTY

Like a wave, you washed over me.

Cleaning the dark corners of my soul.

And all at once I am yours.
The doubts. The faults.
They are now gone, and I am left.
Just holding you. Your lips caressing.

The clouds have lifted.
