POETRY: AS MY THOUGHTS CONSUME YOU

clouds of uncertainty
had surrounded my being
mind fogged and senses dulled
a world of muted shades of gray
then she came unexpectedly into my life
carrying with her, sunshine and colors
and like a book with empty pages
she started writing passages
making everything ever so clear
and I smile reading every new page
now with every moment I breathe
she is drawn further into my heart
and though I am wanting
to hold her there forever
I cannot do so, not wanting to suffocate that love
and so she roams freely, passionately
like a wild pony on the plains
passing through my thoughts and dreams
leaving imprints, like soft kisses
there...

Every second, minute,
and hour of the day,
you're in my mind in every way
as I look in front of me
I see you there
I just look with a hard, long stare
than realize you're not really there
it's just an illusion of you in my mind
you're there with me all of the time
even though I don't see you every day
or always have a lot to say
I just want to let you know
"I love you in every way!"

I am not alone, love comforts me
In this darkness our love I see
I dream of times and days past
visioned fears, love?s lost past.
it touched the heart of my soul
awakened, then passions unfold
rhythm of life- old and yet so new
is revived within the touch of you
life is filled with love promised now
revived my soul and spirit, somehow
I sense the taste of 'love yet fulfilled'
as it flows from my heart, into my very will

love?s dream of life is so inspired
wherein all wishes given, if desired
our moment in time suspended us
all filled with passion, loving trust
alone, together amid this throng
our hearts did wait much too long
voice of life?s pain, echoed memories
for all those loves I wished to be
broken solitude, rises out of me
in love?s bliss, on bended knee
bowed head in awe, then revelry

my eyes then rise to dawned skies
my being so filled, complete inside
two hearts in one, loves celebration
so thankful for this transformation
your kiss is the life of love in me
raptured hearts held so tenderly
my life so nourished by given love
this I witness to the moon above
as stars shine their eternal light
velvet sky the diamonds of night
as waves of love sweep this time
a sea of senses claims my mind
your love becomes all my reality
so rich in pleasure, and ever be
a moment sublime, is you in me

Sleepless again
Thoughts of you
Running in and out of my mind
For no good reason
I wonder, will I wake from this dream?
You've been with me for so long
I've started to see you
When I'm awake
A harmless infatuation
Became an obsession
Turning to unfeigned emotion
Fantasizing about your devotion
I'm whispering in your ear
Leisurely caressing your hair
The curve of your face
Like a perfect sculpture
Has left a lasting impression
In my mind
But I resolve to solve
This little mystery
Why is this dream still haunting me?
Everything I need
To be able to find
I could find in you
How I need
All you have to offer
If I could only
Make a perfect picture real
My empty heart
So easily healed
I'm constantly plagued
By the idea
That today is the day
I could awake
So once again
I turn out the light
And hold my perfect picture tight
Forever
I want to be lost
In your kiss
And if tomorrow
Is a simple dream away
Then let it begin like this

I close my eyes- your face appears.
They open and your gone.
I see you in my dreams all the time.
I see you when i don't want to,
And when i do- your not there.
I have wanted you for so long,
I searched and searched, i long for your touch
But where are you?

Finally you have noticed me!
I have found you- you're here,
And not only with my eyes closed.
I have found you outside my dreams.
I'm so happy you're here!
I extend my hand to touch your face-
Right before my eyes- your face disappears.

And I'm back to where i started.
I close my eyes- your face appears.
They open and you're gone.
I see you in my dreams all the time
I see you when i don't want to,
And when i do you're not there.
I have wanted you for so long
I searched and searched, i long for your touch
But where are you?

Each life is a path,
a road destine to eternity.
Eventually each path of life crosses the path of love.
Sometimes the paths become as one,
leading together to share eternity.
Other times, love is just an intersection,
in which love will always be there on your path,
but only something you have to overcome
to reach your destiny.

Sometimes I find myself asking where my path is leading me
Is it leading me anywhere.
Am I searching for a love that could never be,
or will my path cross love yet once again?

Each day as I make my way a little further down my path,
I wonder if I have taken the right one,
or will this be yet another blemish
added to my tattered path toward destiny?
How can I be sure I'm headed in the right direction,
I ask myself.
Only I get no answer,
Just The Silent Beating of My Heart

Beauty such as hers is extremely rare,
the likes of which others cannot compare.
With a beautifull face and gorgeous eyes
looks like hers trancend from the skies.

With beauty such as hers a Model she could be,
she has that sort of beauty it hurts your eyes to see.
Not meeting this Angel would have been a tragedy,
the way she caries herself you might be tempted to call her "your majesty".

The overall point is that she posesess the beauty of a Godess,
and her denial of this fact would surpass being modest.
While other girls may referred to as a 'cutie'
she's the only one possesing Astonishing Beauty

Being with you is like heaven on earth,
You are an angel waiting to love me.
I hold your eyes in mine, and hesitate momentarily.
I touch my lips to yours, but to kiss an angel
would be like robbing God himself.
But I cannot control myself, I am Adam...
too tempted by forbidden images to think rationally.
The light you radiate blinds me and such a warmth overcomes me
that I can't go back, for with love comes uncertainty.
A great many lives are taken each day by the devil,
love, temptation, sacrifice, and heartache.
And here I stand before you and proclaim my love,
and my pain of lost loves, which are long forgotten...
thanks to you my angel.

The joy of being near you heart and soul. You touch my soul
and let my spirit fly. You speak- your every word is like
a sweet poem ingrained into my heart. The sight of you
reminds me of an angel. Your sweet kiss melts my heart of ice.

I have a fire burning within me
In my heart and in my mind
A fire so fierce, nothing can silence it
Could it be love, or could it be lust?
Or an overwhelming sense of fear
Of being broken, or torn in two?
I must be sure my heart is cautious
Taking step by step
What I feel is complicated
For you would never understand
The meaning of my feelings for you
Is so deep, my mind can't comprehend.
So I will go on loving you
Deep in my mind, and in my heart

As I walked along, the path did split,
I stood for a while, pondering over it.
One labeled destiny, one labeled past,
I've looked down the destiny one, and I'm just aghast
So, I take the path to the left, and hope it's the one
That will keep me happy till my life is done.
The road I was travelling has come to an end
And I've chosen the path that lets my life start again.
Hoping to find someone with whom I can share my whole life,
Hoping to find someone who'd be a friend and a wife.
I'd always show her that she holds my esteem
For, with her I'd know I could follow my dreams.
She'd be there to share every bend in the road,
Make into a home, what otherwise would just be an abode.
Would be loving and giving most of the time
And write poems with me, help me make the words rhyme.
Go for walks with me or, just swing in the park,
Always take my arm, whether in daylight or dark.
Share her day with me, whether it was good or bad
And let me make her feel better, if she's feeling sad.
It'd take a little while to learn when she's needing some space
So, I'd know that when she needed it, to stay out of her face.
To discern between sadness and hurt in her eyes,
To bring her little gifts, hoping she'd realize
That I'd work to make her happy, through each passing day,
Never go to bed at night with a cross word to say.
Knowing that if I gave all I had, that she'd have to be blind,
To not see the love we'd share that she'd never find
With anyone else, no matter how hard she could look.
For, ours would be real, not just words in a romance book.
Hope the fork in the road leads me to that place
Where I can behold my lifelong angel's face.
For, she is my destiny and I'll find her one day
And for this.. I'm on my knees, as each night I pray

I love and respect you for all the things you do, all the care you hold, all the joy you spread around you
I love you in a world where love is not a transaction, nor a weakness, nor a game
I love you in a world where love is all the reasons to exist and all the reasons to wait for the sun to rise again behind the hills and set again behind the ocean
I love you in a world where the naked are warm, where the poor are fulfilled, where all the small creatures of this wonderful earth have a thin crack, a dip under a rock, a nest, a leaf to curle up under and dream of the morning

A history and a destiny
A yellow flower
A bookmark
A box of chocolate
A green sweater
A poem
All the little things between your little fingers

In my thoughts, my heart...
you fill this day
In gentle brushes of a finger
on a cheek
Caressing sweeps of sensuous lips,
subtle and pliant
On a neck, slender and fair
And fanciful dreams of
ocean currents
And sailing away on a
white boat of love
To a place of eternal peace...

In my thoughts, my heart
among the doves and lilies
Rose petals scattering in
joyful abandon
On a feathery fern throne
Amid dancing and wild
orange sunsets
A fiery passion lights
my heart
As my thoughts consume
you
And I feel our loves
flow together
Intermingled, entwined
in a blood red pool
Glittering on the pearl strewn floor
of our imaginations...

Set adrift- a kiss on the breeze
cradled by wind, above the trees
Above the world and all that is in it
boundless to fly, without any limit
Let it soar- straight to my lips
where I drink your love.. in tiny sips
