THOUGHT:MY PRESENT

As I stare into your eyes,I see the face of a child, So innocent and true. True to love and all its possibilities. What do those possibilities hold? Maybe a love so strong and true, Not even an angel dares touch it. For two people from different worlds meet, For all the same reasons. They are in search of LOVE. A love so true and strong, It will stand the test of time. A love that bears no boundaries, And will outlast any other great loves known to man. For in your eyes I see the longing . . . Longing to be touched, loved and cared for. This I know and feel, since you have been hurt before snd fear the rejection of others. but others do not see what I see in you. I see a woman . . .A woman so great, who's loving, loyal, caring, and patient with her mate. You are the TRUE treasure! And the things that they don?t see are truly their loss, and my gain.

When someone stops caring it's like the winter. The ground is frozen and cold,,,the trees begin to wither and splinter...natures test begins to unfold...nothing feels right. It seems like the snow may never melt and your heart knows it's lost the fight. Is it possible to retrieve the feelings you once felt or will love be forever lost unanswered questions may forever stay but hopeless romantics will search at any cost...some choose to keep their feelings at bay...winter quickly turns into fall..your questions melt away with the season. The problems once there seem so small will eventually the heart forgets without reason. Love comes and goes with each passing season

my present
and my future
stands before me right now
making my past
completely irrelevant

this moment
before you
our families and friends
and before God
is what i've been waiting for
ever since the day
that i realized
the definition of true love

i arise each morning
with you in my heart
and your soul
occupies my body
making me
more complete
than i've ever been
in this journey we call life

everything you do for me
i want to do
tenfold
to show my undying devotion for you

we will walk together
in unison
not one in front of
or behind the other
but
right beside each other
where we both belong
on this day
and all that follow
under the umbrella of peace
love
and happiness
that has been provided by God

I asked 12 men over 60 what they miss most about their 40s and not one of them said their career, their body, or their social life — every single one described a moment so specific and so small that I had to pull over to write them down by Tommy Baker

You know what I miss? The sound of the garage door when she’d get home from her pottery class on Thursday nights.” That’s what Frank told m...
