POETRY: YOUR LOVE FOR ME

I look into the dark night sky as the moon sheds her tears
and all the stars that comfort her and the clouds that hide her fears
I look into the setting sun as its colors clash with pride
with its light that warms my heart with love that shan't subside
I look into the ocean blue as its enchanments swirl below
what mysteries lie so very deep shall I ever know
and as I set beside you i begin to realize
I see all these wonderful things each time I look into your eyes

In the air of confusion I will be,
'till your tender kiss will release me,
The fault is in desire,
this love without attire.

Love is a paradox of confusion and change,
you can never get a grasp of it as it never seems the same,
But if you stay in the confusion of air,
your love will soon be there.

You cannot mold nor twist loves way shape or form,
because the love you seek sleeps silently within the storm.

'Till then my rose I will be there,
waiting for that tender kiss we shall both share.

Last night I lay by myself
wishing you were here
As I was thinking of you
Down my cheek rolled a tear

I thought of how I feel for you
And how I need you so
And how at night I miss you;
How I wish you wouldn't go

When we are together
Time runs by so fast
I wish I had the power
To make our time together last

As I gaze out the window
At the glowing moon
I shed a single tear
'Cause I wished I could be with you

I don't know what you did to me
Every night I think of you
Every time I awake
Every time I hear a slow tune

Last night I lay in bed
Staring at the stars
hypnotizing, like your eyes
They made me wonder where you are

Your smile can warm a winter day
Your beauty lights the skies
And every star I see at night
I find within your eyes

Your hands are smooth and gentle
Like silk with a softer touch
I?ll hold them till the day I die
'Cause I love you so much

I can't promise to give you
Days without pain
Happiness without sorrow
Or sun without the rain

But I can promise to give you
Strength for the day
Comfort for your tears
And light for the way

Last night I lay by myself
A tear rolled down my cheek
Then came a smile
'Cause in my mind you will always be

Last night I lay on my bed
Wondering how heaven would be
Then I gave a smile
I'm in heaven when you're with me

You are the love.
With you is where I belong.

And greet it with a laugh;
The world is a treasure to me
...Because of you.

Every time I think of something sad,
I replace the thought- with you!
My mind is instantly changed
And my heart is filled with gladness.

Every breath I take is meant for you,
I live this life surrounded in joy
And I bathe in the promise of your love,
My soul belongs to you.

Each time I see something beautiful
I want to take it and bring it to you;
My life has so much meaning now
All because of you...

Be there,
Be my everything.

Be true,
Be my friend;
Be blue,

Under the patient watch of candlelight,
My pen flicks like a wasp.

I write of our memorable days,
Holding hands on streets,
Chasing stars in togetherness,
Entangled in oneness, like worms
Hooked to the lining of the stomach.

You are like the petals of the hibiscus,
Delicate to my touch,
Slipping like the thread of a seamstress,
Passing through the needle?s eye.

I have never heard those familiar three words,
that are spoken amongst lovers,
escape from your lips and pierce my heart.

But I can see it in your eyes.
I can feel it with your touch.

And with those senses,
I do not need words to make absolute
your love for me.

Will your lips stay untouched with such beauty as this,
For how saddened my heart by our distance apart,
And each simple thought would beckon my kiss,
And each simple dream would summon my heart.

But I smile with the memory of your longing embrace,
And my joy went unfettered with your voice I perceive,
And your voice in an instant would signal your face,
Then your face in an instant? my love would receive.

Your eyes were the stars that at night would inspire,
My soul to but yearn for your lips sweetest touch,
And quenched by my love's overwhelming desire,
To whisper I love you? I love you so much.

And untouched were your lips but untouched nevermore,
As our passions engulf our souls to their depth,
On wings riding high will our ecstasy soar,
For our ecstasy soars and our ecstasy's kept.

So our lives have been perfect for souls such as ours,
And time won't diminish the love that we share,
And if ended the morrow by omnipotent powers,
Then the morrow had brought me? a beauty so rare.

The constellations spell out your name
In a florescent glare
That transcends space and time
Magnifying its beauty and strength
In my heart.
