POETRY: YOU BROKE MY HEART INTO MANY PIECES

You broke my heart in so many pieces.
You had promise me that you wouldn?t hurt me.
And I told you from the start 
I didn?t want to get hurt again.

But you went ahead and broke the promise.
You broke my heart without a reason to give me.
When I asked you, "why are you doing this to me," 
you told me that... you didn?t want to tell me.

How could you break my heart?
After I told you- I love you with my heart.
You knew I loved you, so why did you promise me... 
if you were going to hurt me like that?

Why did you tell me you loved me 
if you didn?t feel the same way as I do?
You really hurt me!
No one had hurt me as much as you did.

I can?t stop thinking about you.
You?re on my mind every second of the day.
There isn?t one day I don?t cry for you, 
that?s how much you?ve hurt me.

You broke my heart in so many pieces 
that no one can put back together.
Yet, you were the only one 
who made me feel better about myself.

You say it?s your fault...
Yet, I can?t stop thinking about you 
because you?re always on my mind.
It?s my fault I can?t stop thinking about you.

I was the one who fell in love- not you!
So, don?t say that it?s your fault... when it ain't.
You didn?t make me fall in love with you.
No one made me fall in love.

Now it?s been a while since you broke up with me.
And I still can?t get you out of my mind, somehow.
I?ve tried so hard to move on with my life- but somehow I can?t.
I'm not strong enough anymore.

You?ve taken my heart and happiness with you.
I have an empty space in my heart 
and I don?t know how to fill it up again.
I don?t know how to move on and start a new life without you

How could I stop crying 
if the person who makes me stop crying 
is the person who made me cry?

How can I start loving again
if you?ve taken 
a part of my heart with you?

When I talk to you on the phone or in person 
I feel like telling you I still love you 
even though you broke my heart.

I have to stop crying, 
because I know that you are not crying over me.
But it still hurts me that my true love, 
loves someone else... that ain't me! 


Dedicated to the one who took my heart,
I will never forget you 
because you were my first true love 
but i will never forgive you 
for what you did.
You will always remain in my heart 
no matter what...

I lay awake in bed at night dreaming,
In a complete fantasy of holding you,
Falling asleep in your arms.
Waking up to see you and only you.

Darling You...Set me free when you're around
I have not one worry nor a fear
On my mind,
All I can think of, 
Is how much I never want to leave your side,
How much I never want to stop gazing into your deep,
Mysterious eyes

Send chills down my spine as you kiss my neck
Make my heart feel as though it's rising to flight
Make my body feel as though it's melting at your body's warm embrace

This love I have for you,
'Tis so deep.

It runs so far in my heart,
I feel that nothing can tear it apart.

As the love in my heart is only for you,
You will never know exactly how true.

I love you so much,
You can't even touch.

This love for you,
Is ever so true.

If I could explain love in two words, 
They would be passion and forever.
You feel this warmth every time they enter the room. 
You feel this hurt whenever they leave.
You get this unbearable desire for their arms' embrace. 
You get this wall of emotions.
You feel like you're on air...
...That's the passion in love.

You know the feeling will never go away.
You know they are here to stay.
You give your mind, body, and soul for them, 
Just to keep them from pain.
...That's the forever.

Love is a lifetime thing.
It never fades or dies.
It's either all, or nothing at all.
Love never comes with two faces.
It's always kind and caring...
...So don't let anyone tell you otherwise, 
Because that's not love...

Ready or not, some day it will come to an end.
There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days.
All things you collected, wether treasured or forgotten, will pass to someone else.
Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.
It will not matter what you owned or what you owed.
Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear.
So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to do list will expire.
The wins and loses that once seemed so important will fade away.
It won't matter where you came from or from which side of the tracks you lived on at the end.
It won't matter wether you were beautiful or brilliant.
Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.

So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?

What will matter is not what you bought but what you built,
not what you got but what you gave.
What will matter is not your success but your significance.
What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught.
What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion , courage or sacrifiice that enriched,empowered, or encouraged others to emulate your example.

What will matter is not your competence but your character.
What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.
What will matter is not your memories but the memories of those who loved you.
What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.

Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident.
It's not amatter of circumstances but of choice.
Choose to live a life that matters.

You looked into my eyes as lookin' through to my soul.
I look at you and wonder, does love really feel
this way?
As I look into your eyes I wonder what is on your mind.
You place your arms around me.
You hold me like you never want to let me go.
Never let me go, out of your presence, out of your life.
I lay my head upon your chest and feel your heart
beat rapidly.
Your smell overwhelms me.
As we look into each other's eyes.
You lean in for a kiss.
That's when all emotions begin,
Begin to overwhelm any thoughts in my head.
That Tender Kiss.
The Kiss that was forever meant to be for you and me.

If I could right the wrongs that made me cry 
I'd make a promise not to say good-night
I am holding on with a love so strong
I can't take a day without my love by my side 
Boy if I could change and change your mind
Honey you could help me wipe these tears from my eyes

You are the calm before the storm
When everything is still, yet quiet
The wind picks up its circled path
It comes with rage and riot
Beginning is the hurricane
With wind, rain and fire
My pulse runs wild as I fall silent
By your hand I go much higher
The lightening lights up the skies
it?s thunder I cannot bear
I run and hide and shut my eyes
Till your voice is all I hear
Then the sun shines through
The darkened clouds 
With a beauty so untold
You wrap your loving arms around
My trembling body to hold
I cry upon your shoulder tears
Which you try to ease
I begin to tell you all my fears
In such energy to release
And as I gaze upon the rainbows bright
I search throughout my heart and mind
Yes, I am happy you are by my side
You are the calmness that I?ve found

Soft and soothing are the waves,
taking love they carry away;
timelessness lifts and saves,
memories for darker days.

Standing there, smiling face;
hand is raised, a wave good-bye;
life stands quiet, no more race,
and tears no longer fill the eyes.

Wind caresses the cheek,
hair blown wild and free;
She listens, she will not speak,
"what will be.... will be."

Gently, fate caresses her mind,
she seeks a new heartbeat;
looking forward, not behind,
for a new fire, a new heat.

In the mist around the bend,
he waits for the arrival.
of one he will defend,
she is his love and survival.

She hears him now,
answers his silent call;
finally together, somehow.
"The one to give my all."

Strong arms reach out,
drawing her to his heart;
lights glow, voices shout,
finally life can start.

fresh fallen snow...
grim grayish afternoon.
still cold atmosphere.
icicles suspended like stalactites from a cave.
as we lay wrapped in blankets protected from the cold...
windows began to encrust with white film.
the stream is chained to its banks.
crunch...crunch...crunch
the creaking cold...blinding blizzard, soft sound of falling snow.
window panes are blurred with frost.
the stove is left crammed with wood, the smell of pine makes it good.
a powder of snow embraces the dawn, awakening the buds 
of yesterday's morn'.
the newness of life unfolds the truth of all that hides...
of kind and good.
the children play in sunless skies, creating men with charlcoal eyes.
remember once winter's song of chilling nights and gray stained dawns...
that summer comes to warm the seas, to bring back flowers 
and children's dreams.
as we lay and the snowflakes fall...together we lay embraced, 
with our hearts beating as one, our souls becoming one...
closer and closer we become, the stronger our passion grows. 
love knows no boundaries...
lost in passion beyond imagination and love so pure and innocent 
like the falling snowflakes that fall upon life's nature.
as we lay embraced in one another's arms life moves on with 
the rebirthing and the newness of dawn.

In the deeping dark 
of another day;
seeps memories
I cannot breathe.

I don't exist, I don't live
but by the heart that beats
within my heaving chest,
why won't it stop.

You are you,
I am me and I can't go,
drifting inside your life
when will you free me.

Sleep cannot pass through
my open window,
but winds blow past me 
surround my burning flesh.

Yearning for you, I bleed,
I hide inside my dreams
awake they bind me
and my torture is complete.

Light inside others 
I can't share in these eyes;
come down and let me go,
begging for you to whisper,

Leave me, I free you.

Intrigued by a puzzle, not knowing what the picture will truly be;
You opened your heart to a challenge.
With your love as glue and your strong soul to keep you working, 
You piece my heart back to happiness.

falling softly adrift the enchanting sea

for all creation will melt away

as if no other moment matters

let us be joyful in our love

Bond with me,
connecting when we are near or far

Unite with me,
let our spirits intertwine with each other's hearts

Be with me,
forever and into eternity
