POETRY: TO ME YOU ARE EVERYTHING

we enter and exit our dreams,
like the tide touching sand on the shore.
whetting our appetite for each other's love,
wanting to taste more.

"have I lost my mind," I said,
checking the mirror that was my soul,
but the only answer returned was
'seek that which is your goal'.

I knew before the question was asked
that she was my answer, and then
I exited my fitful sleep
and entered her paradise again.

From a bird's lovesong to the sound of a waterfall
All that you show me every day is great
When you shine your heart and soul on me, always
Forever I Love my Beautiful Star
High in the Heavens giving true light to the world

Your radiant power overwhelms everyone around
But it gives reason for me to believe
There will be peace on Earth forever
These hours and minutes are just previous signs
Of the splendor of our love

So, I have to let you know
Being with you: we, two doves on a spring afternoon
watching the roses grow under the sun
So I must thank you for your perfection

Your brown eyes shine.
The sweet touch of your lips touch mine
And, now I know you're mine...

In the darkness of winter, I will wait for you;
Calling your name through the emptiness,
Seeing your eyes in every snowflake that lands on my shoulder,
Always hoping that maybe you're thinking of me.

In the rain of spring, I will wait for you;
Knowing that to you my soul I will confess,
Remembering when the raindrop tears soaked the ground,
and how our love became bolder,

Wanting my spirit to be renewed in life
as just the same our love should be.

In the empty days of summer, I will wait for you;
In every whisper of the wind, I'll be thinking of your sweet kiss;
Watching the river flow with the same passion
which your hands flow across my body;
Carving our names in trees,
the same way they are forever carved into my heart.

In the swiftness of fall, I will wait for you;
As the leaves fall from the tree,
the way my heart fell into your bliss;
With the colors changing, and birds migrating,
like your gentle touch, so freely;
Never imagining that we could be so far apart.

your face
never leaves
my mind.

When the Sun
sets in the sky
is the time
I miss you most.

Each night
when I go to bed
your pillow
touches mine
bringing tears
to my eyes.

Wherever you are
save me a spot
beside you
one day forever
each other

Is on your lips
Spring in the air
Flowers bloom
Love so sincere,
So luscious

Fondles and corrupts my soul's affection
such an extravagant, bold, devoted,
delectable love takes over the galaxy

The sun that gives life.

The touch of such gentle and tender love,

If only in your mind.

Travel to a place where lovers go
To lie beneath a sheet of stars.

Make love to me as the gods watch on
As our souls and flesh become one.

There is peace in knowing I am with you, love

When most people are on their death beds,
So many thoughts usually fill their heads,
Did I do everything right in my life??
Did I make the right person my wife??

I need not ask myself these questions,
I just need you to be there,
To run your fingers through my hair,
For I know I have found true love.

When I am here, and my last breath draws nigh,
Please don't cry,
I don't want to see a tear in your eye,
Just tell me that you love me,
And I'll die the happiest man alive.
