POETRY: MY SOUL'S DESIRE IS TO BE LOVED

My soul's desire is to be loved
Captured in the waves below and stars above
Touching the very depths of my every being
Facing the elasticity of things, yet unreeling
Wanting, so desperately, to be made whole
Feeling the yearn embedded within my soul
Caressing the wind as though all mine
Brushing across my lips in the essence of time
Echoes in my mind, wind whispering in my ear
Listening to nothing of the sort
Secretly wishing someone could hear
My cries of loneliness and heartbreaking ties
Binding me in the eternal search for someone
Of the kind to make love... to my mind
To gain the pathway to my soul
Desiring to be loved
Are things destined to behold.

The feeling of love is so true,
It's what makes a part of you.
It's the part of the sun
that makes the beauty.
If there was no love,
then all would be lost.

Two hearts come together in sweet ecstasy,
The high-test point of happiness. As souls,
we search long and far for just that comfort,
the very feeling of want and desire. Minutes, hours,
days and even years we could search for that defined
pleasure. I don't mean lust or sexual desire, but the
meaning of the finer arts of the heart. The true deep
meaning of love.

To be anothers Soulmate we need to search within ourselves
to find what we really want and dream. But until then
we are but travelers in a void which we live in.
The heart that beats inside our bodies is fragile
needing care and a soft touch...

True love is the healer of our loneliness, the protector of our fears...
To love another, far beyond anything, is the true catcher of the
heart.. Seeing no boundaries or feeling, no regrets but just
compassion and the will to be free with each other.
