POETRY: A LOVER'S LONGING CONSUMED IN PASSION

Once my soul and I were one,
Together, peaceful and in love.
My heart was one and beating alive.
Untill the day God decreed. 
That I shall be split in half,
My heart shall be torn in two.
I am now not single, but a dual being.
My other self is me,
But is a stranger to me.
I feel as if I have known her forever,
But I have never reaaly met her.
Now aeons have passed,
I have been born again and again.
Each passing life is a blur,
In each life I am searching,
Searching for my soul.
A soul which has escaped me,
Each life is unsatisfied,
For my soul is lost somewhere,
I do not seem to find it anywhere.
My heart beats healthy and alive,
But I feel that it is sad and alone.
It longs to beat in a rhthym,
With a part of it which has been lost.
Why do I want someone so much,
Someone I have not met,
Yet, I long for her so passionatly,
I think I am going mad,
But I look around me,
And I see, every being doing the same.
For since the day God decreed,
Each Man and Woman,
Is looking for their Soul Mate.

Longing to lie in
the soft warm sand

The ocean before me,
in blue vastness

The chorus of a wind song
in my ears

Soft caresses on my body
from your hands

Fragrant oil, and
gentle touches

Skin glistening in the
heat of that sun

As our eyes meet
and consume each other

In the passion of that
meeting

A first meeting after
being apart

Such longing in the air

In our minds, on fire,
with passion

The oceans, the sand,
the sky

It all merges into our
consciousness

In one symphony of
desire

Only us, our love
and the earth

A lover's longing
consumed
in passion

[she whispers]

I drink your soul like silver wine 
which heady makes me feel 
and flowers seem as softest beds 
for our tired hearts to heal.
So watches all the world at night
our love 'neath silver moon 
and all may wish that 
what we have 
may one day be their boon.

[he replies]

You may love this dusty knight
but, my lady fair,
I am part illusion,
a shimmer in the air;
made of thinnest light
from beyond the dimmest star
and wanderlust of finest layer
all wrapped up in fire;
a dream from some warm night
of long ago and yesterwhen;
a sliver of desire
though you will to touch my heart,
a ring of smoke that disappears
when daylight does its part.

From the moment
my hand touched the door,
to the time I first 
looked into your eyes,
my heart skipped a beat
only to beat once more.

Against the wall
you held me there;
so tender, so sweet,
I felt you trembling,
deep down, I knew, you cared.

Our hands clasped together
holding so tight;
I felt your soul go thru me
and, in an instant,
my heart
was in flight.

Our bodies soon became one
unfolding all desires;
to have you,
to hold you,
to smell you,
to taste you,
the passion so deep, so true,
together at last
you're everything I admire.

The night was ours;
all the time in the world
to walk with you,
to talk with you,
you were mine and I was yours.

I felt as if I was dreaming
only to realize
you were with me;
I gazed into those beautiful blue eyes
so clear I could see
they were not only looking back
they were smiling at thee.

I can say 
I can hold that moment in time;
for no one can take
that away from me,
you're in my heart
forever,
you're mine.

Just you and I
time so sweet;
caressing tenderly,
you make me
COMPLETE!

The Body and Mind give way to the Heart and Soul
They let the emotions take over, yet, remain in control
Passion and sentiment now replace logic and reason
Interchanging ever so slightly- as if from season to season.

Feelings flowing freely, replacing all thought.
Emotions running wild without fear of being fought.
The Mind sits back and takes no part
Letting all decisions be made by the Heart.

And throughout the Body the Soul can now freely flow.
With the Heart now in control the Body can only follow
As the Soul controls the actions revealing it's glow.
Every decision now based on "I feel" not "I think" or "I know"

Emotions unchecked by the Mind, the Heart's influence continues to grow
And with the help of the Soul will continue to do so.
The Heart and Soul move slowly but soon control All.
This is what takes place when, In Love we Fall.

Waking up with you
takes me back, to the
vivid feelings of youth,
those moments of freedom so rare.

I lean over, breathe in your hair.

You sleep so content and
I smile, sounds of waves
and visions of me looking out
to sea, I take life in little sips.

Fingertips trace your lips.

Your hand reaches out in sleep,
and holds mine, squeezing and
releasing, I feel the love and
power of your being.

Eyes look at you, as if the first time seeing.

Running inside my heart with
you I know you are the one;
and I settle back into
our bed, so secure and touched.

My soul knowing yours, and loving you so much.

Always.

I feel like I'm being eaten alive
My throat yurn's for attention
But get's none
My heart attends love
But gets none in return
My eyes feel like clouds
Getting heavier and heavier
Then releasing their flow
My heart feels stabbed
Over and over again
But not medicated or fixed
In any way
I need Somebody,
Something.
To heal or mend
This broken body.
Will Somebody?
Something?
Can Somebody,
Something.

The way you look into my eyes...
the way you laugh,
the way you cry,
the way you smile...
it is all good.

The way I look into your eyes...
the way I laugh,

The way we look into each other's eyes...
the way we laugh,
the way we cry,
the way we smile...
it's all good.

You are all I wanted...
cuz you are there for me,
cuz I am there for you...
cuz we are there for each other.

No one can take that away from us...
cuz we are in love.

The love I have for you is unexplainable...
cuz there are so many words I want to say, 
but I cannot bring myself to say them.

Love is a powerful word to say...
If you say, "I love you," 
you better really mean it,
cuz if you don't, you will regret it 
for the rest of your life.

Indefinite you, sencerable you.
With tears of an angel 
that's seen by few.

And your happy touch;
I felt so much
Love out of you
And for the first
Love that was true.

You the beholder.
You the owner
Of a thought, of a feeling
I never had.
But always hoped
Of you.

Words fall
one by one,
golden yellow,
hard and shiny

they attract
the promise

and they ravage
your strength,
like spears finding
their mark

you bleed
in pain,
you're left to die,

with eyes bright
green scarred,
shattered crystal
on pouty red lips,

words are power
and they're oh so smooth
and above all

they are good at soul slaying.

There is this feeling too powerful to fight.
I know it's wrong but, it feels so right.
I try to ignore it
but, it just doesn't quit.
As I wait longer-
it grows stronger.

It's already taken control
of my mind, body and soul,
but, not my heart, because that's what she stole.
Now to win her's is my new goal.

But, that's easier said than done,
because she's now with someone.
That doesn't mean I'm just going to lay down and die.
No,no,no, I'm still going to try.

But now, I have to aim twice as high,
go two times further, try three times harder
just to show her, so she won't doubt
that when it comes to her I'll go all out.

But, for now I must wait.
I let her know and now it's up to fate
to decide if I deserve to be 
the one by her side.

Is destiny the reason why 
love seems to pass so many by? 

Does God watch from up above
and choose who gets to fall in love? 

Are looks the only thing we see 
when searching for our one to be? 

What are the chances that we?ll find 
the person created in our mind? 

Could the stars show us the way 
As they did for sailors, ancient days? 

If they do, then what's in store? 
Will love be enough, or will we all want more?

"You don't know what you've got unitl it is gone." 
How true this is to me
Without you I will never go on
Some people think you are what they see
But none know how you are with me
When you go away
I want to go too
I look into the future
And all I see is you
I don't know what to do
'Cuz I feel so much for you
How can I tell you 
That you are special to me
I wish I knew all the ways
But I do not
So I will hold back another day
For you I will wait 
My hand will be outstretched 
For you to grasp
My heart will be closed 
For you to open
Your love is all I want
Your touch is all I need
But until the day we are together
I will be here waiting forever

The clouds lazed bare
The stage was clear
The sounds of the leaves we heard
As we lay down in bed
With our hearts synchronizing
In eclipse of romance

The wind sang to our ears
The moon bid us near
The feeling of silence we bore
As we gazed into each other's eyes
With our mouths upon one another's lips
In moments of embrace

And still we held airtight
Love was there in our eyes
The passion was crystal clear
As we spoke the plain truth
From the bottom of our hearts
That this abiding love would last

it all seems like a fantasy
she's too perfect for me

I'll never be able to hold her
I'll never be able to kiss her
The world just wants me to suffer

and wait for this girl I've never seen
but god feels like being so mean
I would do anything to live this fantasy
but so far god has tortured me
letting her get so close, but never quite there
everytime I think of her, I feel my heart tear

not being able to be with her
not being able to touch her
the world just wants me to suffer

It all feels like never
I will be lonely forever
all these feelings trapped inside me
pushing me closer towards insanity
I just want to express these feelings
for that girl with a halo and perfect wings

I'll never be able to hold her
I'll never be able to kiss her
the world just wants me to suffer
