POETRY: I ALREADY LOVED YOU

When i tell you that
I love you.
I don't mean to
Scare you.
I just want you to know how
I feel.
Even if
You don't feel the same.
Because it's just something
I have to say.
I know I don't show my affections, that's because
I'm scared.
Scared that if I do
I will be hurt again.
As I've been before.
I know that in life I'm supposed to experience
HURT and PAIN.
But it's happened so many times I don't want to experience it
Anymore.
Now all I want to experience is
LOVE.
The one thing I've only experienced three times in
My whole life.
One thing is, I was always the one loving and no one was loving
Me back.
So in my final words I say...
I LOVE YOU!

If love were a song
it would flow in sweetness
into heart pounding crescendo;
Mixed with measures
of sadness and sorrow,
intertwined with notes
of bubbly laughter.

If love were a flower,
could a single blossom do justice?
Or, would it take a bouquet
of Rose, Daisy and Sunflower
with a bit of Lilac,
Honeysuckle and Forget-me-not?

Can love be compared
to a single thing?
Is love not varied
as colors on the artist's palette?
Each blending or standing alone
to make the portrait unique.

Of the thousands of words
sung, written or spoken,
not a single one
has fully captured
love's essence and fire.
The power of one small word,
this being 'love'.

Before my eyes touched you
With sweetness,
I ALREADY LOVED YOU.

Before my hands caressed yours
Like the petals of roses
Caress each other,
I ALREADY LOVED YOU.

Before I turned you on
With a lovely kiss,
I ALREADY LOVED YOU.

Before my body trembled with yours
With the cunning contact of your
Caresses,
I ALREADY LOVED YOU.

Together we have found the finest love offers
The desolate emptiness, a thing of the past
Days are now filled with joy and contentment
Happiness

To wake every morning and feel your sweet touch
To spend our days laughing, loving, and caring
To fall asleep gently in your tender arms
The joy of knowing that we are together
Always

To know you are with me in all that I do
Our thoughts together
United
One soul, one love, one heart
Forever

PART II

I cherish every word of affirmation you have given me;
I cherish the love you have choosen to share so free.
I cherish the way you rub my body down after we make love;
The way you caress and hold my body tight, like hand in glove.

I cherish the sweet scent of your whisper,
when you say I love you;
I cherish the way you lift my spirit;
my troubles you usher me through.

I cherish the love for me that fills your heart;
I have even learned to chersh the times when we are apart.
I love you with my mind, heart, body and soul;
Together we can cherish one another until we are old.

My open arms lead you to my heart
There you will find your special place
True completeness.

My outstretched hand leads you to my soul
There you will find my inner most true feelings
Two souls connecting.

My warm words tell you I love you
An emotion so strong, a feeling so intense
Complete joy, absolute bliss.

Sitting here, closing my eyes,
I can remember the void once in me.
Despair not from ever not having,
But a sadness over something missing.

Tears would sometimes fill my eyes,
But for strength the river never ran.
Bottled up inside
A misery, a gloom... melancholy just loomed.

It is so strange how a cup is filled,
That shape, an empty vessel being devoured.
A gift of life,
Replacing the emptiness of nothing

Misery no more!!
As water overflows this vessel.
Happiness is drenched
For the missing has been found.

In your arms, I've found the peace and understanding
I've wanted for so long.
In your arms, I've felt the warmth and passion
I've needed to help me feel alive.
In your arms, I've learned what true love really is.
I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life
in your arms,

There's a feeling that is deep inside of me,
One that I just can't let go free.
It's one that has made part of who I am today,
How I would love, not, to feel this way.

The feeling that I'm speaking of is one that will always be there,
No matter the time or day,
No matter what I do or say.
I will always know the pain that it leaves everyday.

The feeling that I'm describing is one I wish I never had to,
It's one that will break your heart.
It will tear the world you know in two,
It will happen before you even have a clue.

It remains with you, even within your dreams,
It makes you wake up feeling like screaming.
It will take your restful nights & turn them into nightmares,
All of this, to me, is not fair.

Is this the way that it's supposed to be?
This I ask you.
It's all because of one painful feeling,
The one I will always fear...
The feeling of not being wanted

When things appear to not fall your way,
And no one?s by your side;
I would, for you.
When you feel the world?s weight
And you think that no one?s there;
I would, for you.
I would for you do anything
To bring back your sweet smile.
When life?s no good
And you feel so sad;
I would for you.
Awake at night; and,
No one?s around and,
You?re feeling blue; and,
Looking at the wall,
Trying not to ball;
I would, I would?
For you I?d call; and,
Take away the pain and,
Lay by your side,
Reassure your life and,
Keep you alive;
I would, for you.
Looking in your eyes,
I see the way that you despise,
What we?re about to do; and,
I decide that,
For you I would; I would.
With our clothes back on you,
Look in my eyes and,
Give me a smile and,
There?s no denial that,
Your love for me is,
My love for you is, true, and,
Know that I would for you,
I would, for you.

A dozen red roses and some light whipped cream
A dab there, a dab here and just a gentle nibble on her ear
A few tender kisses on her red lips
And I know deep in my heart she will never resist
As I move on, our love elevates higher
And each of us knows this is our wildest desire
Our passion develops like a hot raging fire
I can see this will be our most intimate hour
As we reach the end, our bodies quake
This uncontrollable urge that couldn't be faked
We fall asleep in each other's arms
Clinging to each other till morning's early dawn
We know deep in our hearts that this was the real thing
And never was an intimate dream

11

The autumn sky loomed above me
As I trod on this lonely garden.
The icy wind breezed pass the trees;
Their branches swayed wistfully.
I went farther into the deep recesses
Until I came upon a tree,
Just below it sat a flower,
A flower so unusual, yet so familiar.
I picked it up and smelled its fragrance;
In the drop of a hat, I was put in a trance.
I breathed the season wind many autumn days ago,
I felt your hair slapping against my face,
My lips touched the moist sweetness of your skin,
Our hands clasped tightly
As our bodies lay close together.
A tingle of warm sensation surged through my body;
Tears welled in my eyes.
The wind patted me gently
And whispered words of comfort in my ears.
I heaved a miserable sigh
And blew the flower up in the sky.
I raised my hand to bid it farewell
As it flowed reluctantly with the wind.
The breeze now grew stronger,
The leaves began to fall;
They scattered and fluttered in mid air
Until the wind carried them to their places
Where they sat magically
Silently and still.

A woman leaves me much in awe,
Like nature's spring and winters thaw.
She's persistent like the driven snow,
Yet, still, can backtrack with the flow.

When she smiles, she lights the world,
And leaves it with it's flags unfurled.
She is really of a different ilk,
She's soft and smooth like untouched silk.

Her eyes are bright and always trusting,
She does not see when we are lusting.
She does not think about us much,
Until we get too close, and touch.

It's then her body warms like fire,
Inside a seething, deep desire.
With each touch this fire grows,
Until her body overflows.

It's not too hard for me to see,
That she's much more than ecstasy.
She is beauty to the Nth degree,
My every waking fantasy.

13
Her essence rises and touches me softly
As her expression lures me inside her voice
Whispering of all the magical places untraveled
Guiding me to the paths of the unknown and unseen
She gazes down deep within the recesses of my soul
Taking hold gently as she embraces all of me with just a touch
Within the folds of my budding consciousness of her near me
She awakens the darkness and a surrounding light she unfolds
Her essence rises and entrances me entirely
With it she moves me like no other has ever done
For she has come to birth the very core of my being
Giving life to what once was hardened and gone
She comforts me in my moments of discouragement
Singing a song that soothes my heart and my mind
Words spoken with whispers of loving seen within her
Heartfelt voices of the longing she has shared from inside
Her essence rises and I know that she is the one
As I have never felt my world break away in so many ways
Releasing each single part of everything that I am
In return giving freely to building my world around her

When one single minute
With sixty seconds in it
Can seem like an eternity
Within the heart of me
It makes me realize
How precious to me you are
Those beautiful hazel eyes
That twinkle like the brightest star

I love you with all my heart; I love you with all my soul
I love everything about you; I love you from head to toe
I just want you to know
That nothing bad will ever happen to you
This, I make, as a promise from my heart
That would take a bullet for you

I just want you now
You don't know how
Much you make me
Feel everything
Your love, I truly treasure
Your warmth, your tenderness
Takes me back to those sixty seconds again
That I feel within your kiss
