POETRY: GIVING YOU MY HEART

A sunset is perfect in every way,
It warms your heart and sets your soul free.
You are my sunset.
A wildflower is very beautiful.
The texture of the flower is soft and silk like,
When one looks at the flower they fall in love with it,
They fall in love with it, they desire it.
You are my wildflower.
A waterfall is magnificent.
The water is cool and soothing,
This water refreshes your heart and soul.
You are the water in the waterfall called,
My heart.

When a man meets a woman,
There are question marks on the heart.
The exchanges of communication,
Is what livens up the start.

When a man makes her smile,
He feels good seeing her pretty teeth.
Wondering what's next to come,
And knowing that what matters lies beneath.

When a man looks into her eyes,
At the same time she looks right back.
Invisible rays of positivenes, happiness and comfort,
Is what makes the two attract.

When a man is alone in his thoughts,
Vision of her run through his head.
Sad because he is alone,
When he'd rather be with her instead.

When a man sings her favorite song,
If often sends chills down her spine.
Singing with feeling and emotion,
Making her feel so, so, so fine.

I'm begining to wonder if my tears will ever dry. 
If I'll ever see another sunset the way I saw it with you.
How many times I have awoken to touch your sleeping face
and found only... your memories.
Was I only dreaming? Longing for something I never deserved to have?
Yet it can not be! For when I close my eyes,
I am taken away to a beautiful place.
Where mermaids play and pixies dance,
and the wind carries the sweet smell of roses.
The sun sets slowly and as the wind carresses my skin; 
you are there...
In the moonlight you touch my cheek, so softly and sweetly;
wanted and waited for...
I could die in your arms with nothing left to ask for...
But when I open my eyes, I am alone...
Though in my endless night... we still share the moon.

I could enjoy your company and even just the presence of your smile-
But only time can give this to me, I have to wait a while-

I may have to sleep alone for 1,000 nights-
Or even compete for you in 1,000 fights-

I may have to think a billion thoughts 
Just to find an answer to one single question of mine-

And my questions come in millions, so the only answers I'll find-
will be found with time...

It took only a quick second to fall for you after I met you-
But it will take an eternity of lifetimes to forget you-

It may take years to unite our love- controlled only by fate
But to see you and I together in time... I shall wait!

My wish is to be with you, 
not just for tonight, but forever.

My wish is to wake up & see you next to me.
My wish is to hold you in my arms & never let you go.
My wish is to have you by my side each day.

My wish is to promise you that I will 
never make feel unsafe when you are by me.

My wish is to promise you that I will 
never break your heart.

My wish is to promise you that I will 
always do my very best to make sure 
that lovely smile of yours will shine until the end of time.

My wish is to promise you that I will 
always share all of my thoughts 
with the woman that I love so much.

My wish is to promise you that I will 
be making love to you each night.

My wish is to promise you that I will 
always be your treasure.

My wish is to promise you that I will 
be with you.

My wish is to promise you that 
my love will never end.

My wish is to promise you that I will 
never leave you alone.

There are
moments within
This moment called life.
Moments within moments
Of momentous occasion,
Where the wheels of life
Turn in an unusual
Fashion... 

There are
Moments of light;
A brilliance that sings
Through the blackness
Like gods of joy. 
A beauty beyond knowing,
But not beyond
Awe...

There are
People of portent;
People who guide us
Just by their presence.
Prophets and Seers
Who speak of the heart
And teach by
Example...

Be my
Wheel... upon which my life turns.

Be my
Light... by which I see the beauty of existence.

Be my
Seer... and show my future through the love in
Your eyes.

If only you were able to see
The love light that shines in my eyes
Maybe then yoy would know
How my love foryou
Reaches into the depths of my soul.
If only you were able to see
The tears that I've shed
Maybe then you would know
How my heart aches
And longs for the times since past.
If only you were able to see
The look that exists on my face
Maybe then you would know
The pain I try to hide
And how I pretend that all is well
If only you were aware of these things
From your own point of view
Then you would know
The feeling I try to express
Belong only to you.

I am not the only one to gaze upon your beauty
Others share the feel and smell of your temptuous touch
But at times like this, that I see the ominous power of you over me
I wonder if they feel as much?
Is it possible that I am in love with you
as a heart felt emotion?
Surely no others could share (except the seekers of some lovers potion)
the unrequitted awe, and respect, the sentimental notion
that you are here for only me, my beloved,
my ocean.

You command my sun to rise.
You seize my breath with thine eyes.
You now have my heart to keep.
You deprive me of all sleep.
You make each day worth all the pain.
You talk to me and keep me sane.
To me you are so many things.
My friend, My Love, My Everything.

Passion flew
like never ending streams
as I wrapped myself around you
wondering where this love would lead.
My heart rapidly beat,
my soul knew relief,
in swift succession
I began to witness
where horizon and ocean meets.

The soft breeze
of the ambiance caressed
as the shot of cupid's arrow,
skillfully sharpened, yet soft,
pierced through me.
Are these feelings real,
would this zeal set me free?
With more life to live,
and more passion to give,
Is this imagination the ideal?

Then the dusk
gave way to the dawn,
And, in the bright light of the morning,
I saw in your eyes
the sudden rise of the sun.
And the day,
filled with pure clouds,
loudly called
till I became assured that
this whirlwind of passion is for real.

would I fall apart?
Could you hold it close?
Would you love it the most?

If I gave you my heart,
Would it break apart?
Could you keep it forever?
Would you hold it together?

If I gave you my heart,
Would you give me your heart?
Could we be like one?
Would you let it be done?

I am so much in love with you, that there are no boundries.
After falling in love with you, I realized 
you are the passion of my life 
and I have no restriction over stealing your heart 
and making you part of my life.
Whenever I stand under the dark skies,
I get a glimpse of your face while looking at the bright moon 
and I wonder to myself, where will life take me...
and when will we be together forever.
