POETRY: HOLDING YOU

Just along the beach one night
two shadows emerged in the moonlight.
Yes, they were yours and mine...
Calmness of the night we're tryin' to find!

My hands you held tight,
afterwards, placed them on your heart.
I realized then sweetheart
when at your side... don't wanna be apart!

In the solemness...our eyes met
no nights could be this great.
Then IN YOUR ARMS you held me tight
and you said "Honey, everythin' will be alright!

Then our hearts started to beat faster
As we held.... each other
I'll never feel happier

Sometimes when I'm alone and lost in thought
And all the world seems so far away
You come to me in a dream
Filling my soul with the warmth of your presence
And I smile knowing that though we can't be together every day,
But we're always close in thought.

I sometimes picture that moment of still
when I look closely and begin to fill
How long would I stay and feel your touch
How long would I weep and miss you much
There are so many words that have not been spoken
and, yet, hate-drawn tears that won't fall and be broken

If I spoke would you hear me through the crisp, cold air
Would you feel my touch, my voice, I will always be there
Would tears fall from your eyes if I longed for your kiss
or would you be weep not for me, and watch me with bliss
What would I do, I ask myself so
I possess no love now and no place to go
Would you guide me through the pain and sorrow
Would you help me see meaning in tomorrow
Could I tell you about all the times I had adored
Could you hear my cries in the night as I screamed and mourned
Would you kiss the wind that blew in my face
Would you fly my dreams to a special place
Would you hug the air that keeps me cold
Could you read parts of my life that I did not unfold
Could you see just how much I love you
Could you see how much I was faithful and true
How could you leave me here all by myself
with no one to hold and much love withheld
Would you cure the aches that dwell in my heart
Would you follow the God that tore us apart
Before you went would you picture me
together forever in eternity.
Before you went would you fight for our love
Would you hold onto life and fight the above

Before you leave me and go far away
there is something for you that I have to say

Weep not my love, for I am on the way
I loved you here and now and I'll love you every day

Looking deep into your eyes
my heart is lost in time
I'm captivated by them
enchanted by their beautiful glow

The way you laugh
that little giggle
gives me infinite joy
like music to my ears

I knew it was love
that night when we met
our eyes focused on each other
as I quickly fell in love with you

Now we are together
and nothing could be better
my love for you runs very deep
and it will last forever...

give me love so True.
have this awesome effect on me.
make me feel like someone "New".

Only You...
are the one I love so dearly.
make our love look clearly.
I Cherish unlike anything else.
make me feel like myself.

Only You...
I want to be with forever.
I Endeavor.
I want to grow old with.
I love and that's no Myth!

Each time I'm with you- it still isn't enough.
Each hug we share, each time we kiss,
My love for you is not fully expressed... it can't be.

I love you beyond your face,
Beyond your smile, beyond you body.
I love everything about you,
I love your heart.

This love I feel inside
is like no other I have ever felt before.
This one is so special, so magical.
Each time I look at you
I see a handsome face with a gorgeous heart.
The longer I look at you,
the more I know I am loved.

Each gentle kiss drives me crazy,
each hug makes me want to cry-
because I know what we have is so precious,
and I am so blessed to have you to hold.

I love you more than words,
more than there are stars in the sky.
But as long as Pegasus flies in the night sky
and ss long as Orion stands proud above the world,
I will love you.

To you, my heart... I completely render.
For thus, I give it, though bruised and tender.
A fool perhaps am I, the sender.
But how shall we proceed... without a lender?
Hence, in courage, I aptly surrender.
And submerge my soul to all the splendor.

We ebb and flow, as waves at sea.
To you, my heart... doth always plea.
I lay it barren... for this cause of 'we.'
And thus to caution... I bow no knee.
Logic, through reason, we do not heed.
Perhaps, to do so... we first must bleed.

Resilience, to others, we daily show.
Upon our faces... they see such glow.
For closer each day, they observe us grow.
In them, belief in love?... we cause to flow.

Share your dreams with me, so they can be mine too. Let me be there to help them come true.  Tell me your fears and when you're afraid Come to my arms and I'll wish them away.  Confide in me, you can trust me, I will protect you with my care.  My shoulder is yours to cry on, You can shed all of your tears.  Whenever you need someone to talk to, You can rely on me to be there.  When you are happy, and when you are sad, I will never leave you alone.  Love can mean many things, I know it is love I feel for you.

He touched two fingers
To his lips
As he brought
His trumpet
Up to blow
Blew right through
Her fingertips
To the tips
Of her toes
Had them tapping
Ever so softly
To his cylindrical sound
Sophisticated sequences
Emanating so eloquently
From his round
Fingering her senses
With staccatos
And legatos
So effortlessly
They wound
Eyes closed
Fingers popping
To its brassy beat
Dampening her clothes
Be-bopping
Swaying in its heat
This mesmerizing
Timbre of
Incessant trills and rips
Resounding so vividly
On her tympanic
Through her hips
His melody
Reverberating
So salaciously
In her air
Had her
Floating
Ever so lightly
On the edge
Of her chair
Feeling it
Dribble down
Her cheek
To the rim of parted lips…
Lingering on every note
Of his melody
She sips…and sips…and sips

i sit and stare at the starry sky
the moon just a crest, but shining so bright
i pull my knees up close to me
and get lost in a dream of just you and me
i feel you so close as i close my eyes
as if this dream has just come alive
i can feel the wind as it whispers in my ear
telling me now that you must be near
the night air engulfs me much like your arms
i know with you here i'm safe from all harm
the light from the moon as it caresses my face
feels like tiny kisses that you gently place
a star in the sky shining so bright
is the one that holds my dreams tonight
it tells me what i already know
that we share a love that will only grow

Love is in the river
flowing towards the sea,
stops by all the flowers
and, behold, by you and me.

As we share our love on the banks
we tell the river to see,
to take it to the ocean
holding you and me.

It will tell the story of love
created so that everyone can see,
the love that was shared between
you an me.

The river will finally get to the ocean
to spread my love for thee,
for everyone knows of our love now
cause it's traveled towards the sea.

It will flow in the ocean cause of you and me,
it will sparkle as the sun shines.
It will glimmer as the moon glows,
it will fly in the air as the wind blows.

It is as soft as the sand,
as bright as the stars.
It is as strong as the tide
when is time to flow.

It will never die
for the ocean is where it lives.
It will always be its home
for our love will forever live.

Love saves in turbulent times
of life's unpredictable moments
And rescues from dangers
of life's undetectable changes
Love reveals lost identity
in figment of imaginations
And traces elapsed memories
in lonely pools of sadness
Love delivers from insidious enemies
in perfidious paths of life
And fills the souls with
endless possibilities beyond mind's eye
Love fills the heart with
indestructible pride and boldness
And revives the forgotten
hopes and dreams before its dawn
Love is all we ever live
to desire and aspire
To transform our hearts in life's
diverse streams of pain and pleasure
