POETRY: CAN YOU IMAGINE

A note, a word,
something touching,
a kiss on soft shoulders,
fragile rain falling,
starlit nights,
all memories ready to make.

A voice, a sound,
there's a beating inside my heart,
the soul takes wing
into the sun, burning,
turning my life into
that endless circle.

Can you imagine
my eyes, my lips,
the days and nights
spent tripping over the moon,
destiny waits and calls,
a lifetime swirls overhead.

Ice and fire,
time and not enough time,
exciting things lifting us up,
wings to fly into that mist,
take my hand, take my life,
pick up the puzzle,
put us together,
two lost entities welcoming
and waiting to be
wind blown into legend.

If I stupidly ask
when the obvious is seen
there is no vanity
If I ask without reasonable cause
take it to mean
my dear
I am not adjusted to such tenderness
and long used to disapproval
If I shake at a casual touch
or leak at the eye from a soul kiss
it is only for the lack of unearthing such precious treasure
If I have exposed myself
and opened
a locked chamber
it is for the lack of opportunity
never afforded before
it is for the thrill I never anticipated
the love I only dreamed
So my love
there is no doubt
There is only one answer
in my head
and it is repeated
ever so sweetly
again and again
and again

All people have stories to tell, some of love, laughter, or pain
Others of madness and some down right insane
This is only one of mine
It's about a woman who has a smile that seems to stop time

Gazing into her eyes is like for the first time seeing the ocean
Watching as the sun rises and sets, touching you, blinds me into this hazy mist
The kind of feeling you get with a first kiss

Figuring out what makes you tick, you body like a maze
I must admit you send me into a firey blaze
It never came to mind that you might be meant for me
Feeling as sad as a cloudy day, all of a sudden it was clear as could be

I wish I could be the one who's in your heart
Truly not being with you could be a sin from the start
The power of you gives me a sensation unlike anything I've felt before
It's you my body is aching for

Happiness surrounds me; feeling your touch I'd be so amazed
Aching with anticipation you are what I crave
With you on my mind, I fall deep into the world of night
Hearing your voice, I start to dream, wishing the time could be right

A beautiful love ready to be made, opening up every one of our desires
A love that would be on fire
Forever I will love you, if only it could be
Together; hopefully wishing a day for you and me

This heart once suffered a loss
Of love so tender, rich and pure
Where else could love be found?
Having sought for so long...

Then I heard you loud and clear
Calling on me through space and time
Your voice was delightful to hear
But should I love after the loss...?

Oh, what joy lies behind the clouds?
That I should give you my precious heart
Should the stars witness the light...?
Of gladness I'm willing to share

Would there be calmness after the storm?
When I trust love I cannot bear
Would the sun shine after the rain?
If I finally fall in love with you.

When I dream of you, I dream of you
Like a dove flying gracefully
Across the intense azure sky
Flapping its wings until it is within my sight

When I dream of you, I dream of you
Like a pearl inside an oyster
Waiting for it to be discovered
So that its beauty can be immortalized forever

When I dream of you, I dream of you
And I dream of nothing but you
And in my dreams I always find you
Dreaming of me and you

I dreamed of you and me
Stuck in a floating capsule
That had no direction or way
Just wandering in space
Never to be discovered
Just you and me, for eternity
And a feeling came over me
One that I could not describe
I only knew that this feeling was forever
And that it could never get better,
Only if this beautiful dream was real

A Man and a Woman;
both torn in between the cracks of compassion
Two Souls
combined in a universe of faltering emotions.
The Woman,
with no question, nor uncertainty of what she tastes.
The Man,
who builds up confusion as a wall, turns his head the other way.
The Woman,
brought into a world where her senses are consumed by love.
The Man,
who may never want to venture a good thing,
And fails to face
what the woman really wants and craves.
If he allows her to enter his world,
he allows her to love him unconditionally...
The woman,
in awe of his existence alone, but heart broken,
For she has already entered that world,
and cannot turn back.
Frustration soaks up inside of her,
only to bring disillusion.

Two Souls
combined in an eternally powerful relationship...

One, a Woman,
who gives her heart in despair, because she fears his loss,
Scared she will loose his spirit,
his heart, his insight, his totality
To something he is not sure of,
or does not crave as much as she does.

Another, a Man,
who might have given up on what could have been true love,
But has not given up
on what is and always will be a secure friendship.
Grateful to have met such a unique woman,
but blinded to what she desires.

And so, in the end...
Two Souls
are combined and tied in a sturdy, never-ending friendship...
But soon, passion is bound to creep out from it's hiding place,
and bound to find a way
Into the combined souls of the Man and the Woman,
never to disappear and always to remain a part of them.
Destiny has chosen them to meet,
but they must choose what path to take,
And that path will impact them both for eternity..

In the beginning there was only one;
When I found you, it became 'us.'
So this is you, the one I?ve been waiting for,
And this is I, the one who was meant for you.

We have traveled so deep into love.
I love you with tenderness, and all that's within me.
I know I will love you forever
Because you are the meaning to my deepest feelings.

When you are at my side, I feel my love growing.
I feel happiness all around me,
The whispers in my ear saying you are the one,
The angel sent to love only me.

Without you, what would I be? I'd miss you so much.
The love we once had, I would keep
As a story I would read over and over.
No matter how far apart we are, remember
We will always be forever- Us.

Be mine, your love so sweet and tender
Till now your dreams are dreamt or not;
My hands caress your heart's surrender,
On wings of wind your whisper sought.

Brown eyed angel, sweetheart mine,
For your smile my heartbeat's yenning.
Angel wings caress valentine;
Our souls twain clouds, fullness brimming.

Beckoning passion and desire,
Our love alone a fiery blaze;
Ships wayward wafture seas of fire,
A seaward starry campfire's haze.

Here birds have flown each day of June,
Sea of dreams in jasmine flowers;
On wings of love arrows atune,
Carressing our love midnight hours.

The night skies showering comets,
I kiss my kiss to you release;
Poems for you all in sonnets,
On wings of doves' eternal peace.

My heart to yours forever blest,
All winds' wondering wings broken
On words of love beneath your breast,
So take, dear love, these words spoken.

Pounding hearts do storm Jonafee,
So shall we melt in ecstasy;
My lonely love shall set you free,
And love our love across the sea

Just imagine how sweet it feels
to love and be loved in return.
You make my life exciting to live
and shine your perfect light on me.

Just imagine how pleasant it is
to be loved by someone like you.
I'm immersed in the ecstasy of your dreams
as you led me by your grips.

So wonderful life has been
since you brought my soul sweet relief.
Being entangled in the web of your wish
you surrounded me like island in the stream
