Who has ever heard a musician ask how to stay interested in music or a poet complaining about being bored with poetry. If a musician does not need to keep changing instruments to stay interested in music, why do we imagine that we need a succession of new bodies. To me, to tap the sacred power of sex, we have to give up trying to make it fit in some convenient mold..as form of recreation, or something that happens in bed...or as a separate compartment of our live. When we make love, our subtle bodies interpenetrate in a way that goes far beyond our exchange at the body level. Emotional exchange take places through the eyes and mouth. There is also exchange or energy. Thus two lovers physical bodies are like musical instrument...they are the media through which the lovers different life energy weave a natural harmony. If there is no exchange of vital energy, you are left feeling empty for you have used each other's bodies to create noise rather than a song. Life music, sex can be used for entertainment or for meaningless background noise
