POETRY: DARLING YOU

You picked me up
and wrapped me
in a warm blanket of love.
You swept me up
and dusted off
webs of hurts inside.

You gave me warmth
you sheltered me
from life's stormy skies.
Now I live in a home
where love abides.

You held me tight.
Where there was darkness,
you gave me light.
Now the world
seems real bright.

In the place where love abides,
you showered me with kisses,
saw through my heart to love,
chased away the darkness
with unconditional love.

Together we dwell forever
in the place where love abides

Her Eyes...
Oooh, those big beautiful eyes.
The way she taunts me daily with her eyes;
Everytime she looks at me- I get so surprised.

I'll have to picture myself
Holding her close, tight....
Gazing into her eyes is a big comfort for me.

I picture myself daydreaming in the lonely skies,
Dreaming that just once I can kiss her,
Hold her, whisper in her ear-
"I love you."
And I can stare in her eyes and then maybe, just maybe
...I'll be surprised.

I sit amid the tinkling echoes of merry conversation.
And silently stare at the solitary flame
Burning atop a near-spent candle.
I dream of the future, soon to be my own.
And reminisce at past events,
Never to be regained.
I know that, like the flame,
I'll soon flicker and fade,
And even though I'll eventually yield
To the quiet consuming blackness,
I will eternally remember and thank
The living hand that struck the match!

Dear God, Please forgive me
for all I've done wrong
all the pain I caused others
all the times I wasn't strong

I haven't asked for much
and I never will again
all I ask is for a chance
to feel true love within

I know I'm still young
I haven't seen tomorrow
but what's the point of seeing this
if it only brings me sorrow

I just want a hug
I can hold with me everyday
I just want that special feeling
that can never be taken away

I Just want that person
who will love me and my heart
I just need that feeling
that can never be torn apart

God send me an angel
on whom I'll adore
O Father please make it last
and I'll never ask for more!!

Darling you...you're everything to me,
I lay awake in bed at night dreaming,
In a complete fantasy of holding you,
Falling asleep in your arms.
Waking up to see you and only you.

Darling You...Set me free when you're around
I have not one worry nor a fear
On my mind,
All I can think of,
Is how much I never want to leave your side,
How much I never want to stop gazing into your deep,
Mysterious eyes

I gazed across the mountaintop
A vast array of unexplored fields,
And I saw within the magnitude
Streams of passion filled with dreams.
I beheld with speechless perplexity
Those fragments of lost realities
And I filtered my mind, my soul...
As I gently watched the serene streams.
And it suddenly became revealed -
Those catchy hooks and killing looks.
How wonderful and beautiful are they
The sight my naked eyes have seen!

While I patiently knelt in wait
For you... to see your gorgeous face,
Your voice smoothly caressed my skin...
And silently whispered to me with grace:
?Hold thy breath... oh, my destined best...
Walk down the stairs with boldness and strength
Till you reach the sacred place of rest
Where my love for you attests...?
And as I reached this hallowed place
The golden tent rent in haste
And there the truth became revealed
That no one but you are my dwelling place.

A look, kiss, or even a hug
That is what I call needed love
The look has that special feeling
That when given you know the meaning
The kiss is an emotion of passion
And when given makes me feel like dancin'
The hug is the most important of all
It picks me up whenever I fall
If it's up to me I'll make it law
'Cause when you do I feel ten feet tall
That look, kiss and that hug

When night becomes day and the sun shines its ray
Through my window into my eyes,
Then I think of you, because you do, too,
Brighten my life like the skies.

A feeling of good that is most understood
By sunlight kissing your skin,
It warms up my soul so I make it my goal
That I can't help but to see you again.

Do you feel the same, or is it just lame
That so quickly your special to me?
I want you to know I believe it is so
That we have what's called chemistry.

You are my sun, you are the one
That makes me smile from ear to ear.
So I won't let you frown or start to get down.
Just count on me, I'll always be here.

And the thunder rolls...
I am here alone in this room -
One more year.
I look out the window
Stare without thought at the bolts of lightning
So deadly, yet so intriguing
The thunder is loud,
It pains my ears -
Makes me jump.
The power surges,
But I am not afraid.
Our song comes on -
It's sound fighting against the fury of the storm.
The rain is pouring.
I walk outside -
I am alone.
Rain pours down my face,
Soaks my shirt,
Makes me shiver.
Lightning strikes all around me
And I can only think of her.
Like an angel; she appears -
We are together, yet alone.
Hand in hand,
In the middle of the field,
All of it blackened by night.
Brought to life only for an instant,
By the lightning.
So deadly, yet so intriguing.
The thunder is loud,
I fall to the ground in fright.
But there he is
My guardian, my love...
She covers my body with her,
Protecting me from the rain
Beating down upon us.
She is there, holding me
Everything will be okay.
We are one -
So small against the storm.
The rain lessens,
The thunder faints to a mere whisper.
We are together, and no longer alone.
My body protecting her.
The sky lightens from black to gray.
Turns to purple... pink... orange...
The sun rises -
We watch
Together
In silence -
Then get up and return home, together.

I back away from the window.
The rain has turned, to hail.
Lightning illuminates the night sky.
Thunder so loud
It hurts...
It plays a frightening melody.
Our song plays on,
Fighting to overcome the fury.
The power surges.
The candle flickers,
But does not die.
Why couldn't I stay out all night?
Why return from the dream?
I cannot endure the storm any longer.
Not alone,
Not without her.
My angel, my light in the darkness.
Our song plays on,
And the thunder rolls.

Imagine waking up each day, having someone
love you, with a love so strong... never having
to be alone, if things go wrong...

Imagine knowing that when you leave from their
sight... that their love for you means everything...
that it will be alright...

Imagine when you return... they greet you with a
smile and coffee in hand... listens to how your
day went and treats you like a man...

Imagine being able to speak of feelings from
your heart... and know that these feelings are
the same as theirs from the start...

Imagine to have passion unrestrained and
warm... to hold you in their arms, feel their touch,
their kisses, their love, till the early morn...

Imagine what it would be like to laugh and play...
spend time together, explore the things you
would like to do...

Imagine...that it's me and you...

I ran with the wind today,
silken streams of cold and hot
blowing across my pale skin,
wind carries me to the olden secret spot.

I listen beyond the wind,
but I can't hear the sun call my name,
the black night falls hard on my back,
I stop to play with fallen leaf, an old familiar game.

Dark blue sadness creeps into my eyes,
as the moon rises in silent movements,
glitter of stars pours into my lost heart,
I am lost, stuck to this spot of cold cement.

Sweet time come to your child,
hold me in timeless dreams,
let the night protect my straying soul,
let the day hide my inner screams.

Through the lights of mystery,
I gaze out at the future of uncertainty,
let the shadows sit at my side,
It is time to learn the sacred healing in me.

Come, lords of the underworld, and
cast the worst you can cast, but beware,
I will fight you as I rise up behind you,
watch my hands halt your spells, and take care.

Come, goddess of earth, and bless me,
I am waiting for the open door,
beyond the olden oak tree of life,
I wait patiently, but yearn for so much more.

Summon the demons, summon the angels,
and let them fall before the growing knowledge,
of lifetimes of loss and learning,
let them with blood make their pledge.

I will run with the wind again tomorrow,
innocence in my eyes to the outer rings,
I have waited forever for my moment,
with open hands I call all living things.

The time has come for my healing,
come, warrior, to my sacred bed,
inside walking dreams I will be yours,
let me fall into fated love, and finally be fed.
