POETRY: THAT TOUCH YOU CRAVE

Somewhere out in the world
Two souls left their minds out in the cold
Left their hearts to live without their souls

Somewhere out in the world
someone wrong is knocking on both their doors
From this world they will never recover

Around the globe a letter has arrived
from another
True love lost for another day
another life must walk away

What should have been 
is left unfinished
left undone

Somewhere out in the world
there is a story of two left untold
She looks out her window
she doesn't see him

Soewhere out in the world
He searches into his memories
He doesn't see her

Another day passes
and they'll be okay
The sun fades into the night
The stars come out ever so bright

Somewhere out in the world
Two hearts lost in the twighlight
Two souls clinging to empty fate

Somewhere out in the world
Two strangers searching aimlessly for one another
As time pasess by
He begins to let her fade
She loses her grip to hold on

Somewhere out in the world
Distant wings reach out to wrap them

Somewhere out in the world
She hears his tender voice
calling out to her heart

Somewhere out in the world
He feels her sweet caress
touching his soul

Somwhere out in the world
they were brought closer together
by a force stronger than fate and destiny

Somewhere out in the world
They are brought to one another
by the truth they feel inside their hearts
they are brought together by a connection
from the heavens and the earth

Somewhere out in the world two hearts
Now stand as one

you are... the soul's one inspiration
you are... always there for me whenever I fall
you are... my heartbeat after a mighty toil
you are... life that dwells beyond the norm 
you are... quiet that hides within the depths of the storm

you are... the renewed dying
you are... cherished and unforgettable
you are... love calling
you are... the taste of desire
you are... the result of a dream come true
you are... the right in the mist of the wrong...you are
the sound of the shadows that comfort the lonely 

you are... the expectation of the virgin girl 
after her innocence is lost 
you are...the passion that results from the countertop 
in the middle of morning 
you are... the ideal rose among a bed of tropical flowers
you are... the logic within the confusion of the ultimate powers
you are... the peace that dwells within the war
you are... the love among the hate
you are...the temptation of the strongest angel 
you are... the honesty of the crying 
you are... the strength of the dying

you are... needed beyond your means
you are... lost within the screams
you are... the equivalent of erotic sensual things
you are... one step beyond the life of the slave
you are... loved for all that you do
you are... the fire within the body as it yearns
you are...the pleasure that sweat provides 
throughout lovemaking
you are... the oil that naturally embraces the flesh 
after the heat sets in

Love embraces the thought and scent of you simply because... 
You are... 
Aren't you?

Don't leave again, I won't know what to do...
Trembling, trembling hands reach for you...
I hold my breath, you're gone.

I'm searching everywhere, climbing through these webs...
I see you - Oh thank God - I'm running, I'm falling...
I still smell you, even though you've disappeared.
So sad, I only wanted you to love me, like the way I love you...
How do you stand still, yet fly so far, so far away...

I'm tangled underneath nothing.
A thousand knives are stabbing me - Oh never mind...
That's just you, looking past me, 
past everything I have ever tried to live for.
Past my dreams, past my hope.
I'll lie here forever just to see you walk by... once.

that kiss can feel like a minute
but lasts in your heart for eternity
you wait your whole life for that one touch
that one touch can seem like eternal bliss
but last in your mind for a lifetime
you wait your whole life for your true love
your true love can stay with you till death
but your soulmate stays with you for eternity
i would stay with you for eternity

From the moment I saw your face
You gave me something to look forward to

From the first time I touched you
You showed me dreams do come true

From the first time we kissed
You proved angels really exist

I can't believe the hardest thing to find
stands before my very eyes
I try and try to comprehend 
but when you're there I just stand

If my heart is a picture
You would be in the center

If my eyes become blind
You would be the only thing on my mind

It's amazing how you know what I want
and always give me what I need

Compared to the universe people are insignificant
but in my eyes a life lived without you is not worth living

So please no more games and no more playing around
this time I think I finally found

The single most important reason I am here
is to share my life with you my dear

Within a lonely heart there dwells
a soul of untold dreams
Within a heart of love there dwells
a dreamer, so it seems

So what, per chance, resides 
among the dreams left there to die?
A heart long since forgotten
in the wake of days gone by

And what, pray tell, lives in a heart
that never dreams at all?
A bitter, lonely soul it seems
that hides behind a wall

And as the wall stands firm
and lets no other heart come near
It feels not love and laughter
from the ones it should hold dear

In time the wall will crumble
giving way to love's pure light
Then once again the heart will dream
and fly to greater heights.

The sun rises and morning comes,
I wake up longing to feel the warmth of your touch,
but my lonliness has only grown anew.

As time goes by and the hours start to creep,
there's no way to settle a love so deep.
Evening comes, but still no change,
I can't hold you in my arms, I wish for something to be arranged.

The sun begins to fall and the night slips in,
living without you is such an unbearable thought

At times I wonder what makes you so special;
is it your eyes, your nose, 
your mouth, or your ears?

In your eyes I saw an everlasting romance,
your mouth told me the truth of your real feelings for me,
and your nose played, as a silly tool, 
of your quite enchanting beauty

Your kiss is the kiss of warmth and security 
on cold winter days;
your kiss is like a cool breeze 
on a scorching summer's day.

your heart runs a beat, as mine skips a beat, 
only to see your lovely face;
each time I see you is like the first...
every minute is ever so exciting
(Oh, how I love you!!!)

and, in your eyes I see stars dance, 
playing friend to the wolves in the moonlight
you act as the ocean... riding a wave against my shore, 
or the sun's rays of warmth in the early day.

all this is to say, "I love you"...
an exotic love that is so everlasting....
and by the cycles of these stars 
our fate shall twist to this amazing fairy tale

The way you look at me makes me feel wanted.
Like you really do love me.

When you smile at me I think you care.
When you touch me I feel so safe.
I really hope all I feel is true.

So it seems that you always have to stop yourself. 
What do I mean? 
When you're looking for love, you are always alert,
always looking for that one sign 
that gives you the,"It's okay now; it's real" sign.
But really, you don't need that. 
Simple really, that tingly feeling that runs through your body
when you touch someone...that's it! 

Some people think that has nothing to do with it.
They ask themselves, what about the fights? 
What about his/her problems? 
Why should I put up with this?
Those people who leave love for that reason 
are the ones who take awhile to realize that, yes, 
you will miss the tingles. 
That's all you need. 

The ones that know that's all you need
are the ones that are happy.
Yes, there are those times when things may not be right, 
but so what? You only feel those tingles 
that make your heart race when your with the one you love.
No where, no how, can you get them anywhere else. 

You learn to control yourself, to be patient,
When to say something and when not to say something. 
You learn not to take things too personally. 
In love you grow and learn, together. 
But one thing that does not change is those tingles.

Can't get enough of your love.

I'm treading water in a raging sea of insecurity
The tide bashes me with unpredictable currents
Into razor sharp reefs of emotion
There is no relief this moment
As I'm fully aware of every sensation
I endure the unfolding of my soul
Whom I see in the mirror
Is not the same person I feel in my body
Who I am is a far cry
From whom I wish to become
