POETRY: THAT MOMENT

A sublime repose, entwined with thee,

With our hands we love,

With our hearts we weep,

Cannot a path for us be lain,

For you the moon I lasso,

Your dragons slain at my feet

I find myself lost in the maze of your essence,
a twisting labyrinth of your sensitive, yet complex emotions.
Intricate patterns shaped by a most intriguing personality
cleverly disguise the treasure that is buried deep within you.
Puzzling paths that lead to the center of your being
arouse my curiosity to the brink of obsession.
My intellect serves only as a reference to my sanity,
for in this realm of emotion, logic and conformity have no place.
They exist only as bubbles floating on the soft, warm breezes
that accompany your presence.
With each turn, I discover another facet of your artistry
as it unfolds to reveal the insecurities and the confidence
of your ever present femininity,
a maze generously landscaped with the shimmering pools
of your most cherished memories,
for they reflect the joy and happiness that nourish your heart.
Surrounded by walls constructed of strength and wisdom
and cemented by love's experiences of pain,
the flowers of hope cling to those walls as they grow wild and free,
covering them with the beauty that real love creates.
I wander through this maze in search of your treasure,
addicted to the ubiquitous sensations of comfort, satisfaction
and love that illuminate your aura.
Guide me to the center of your
ESSENCE.

Passion, a poet's thoughts
Of moments in a mind's day
Beyond the visual, in
thought's play
Of layers of memories
Real. imagined, dreamed
In interplay
Scenes, sounds, smells
Interwoven and separated
And from all this
a passionate play
Of lovers deeds and places
of virtual paradise
Impossible colors, improbable
designs
Architectural conglomerates
of wild invention
Places of paradise and
sensuous fruitfulness
In boundless play
such places we visit
To feast on the visions
of such profound complexity
In interwoven imagery
where our delights are met
Improbable journeys to
realities of our deepest thoughts
Our passionate minds

All those things you do not love about yourself,
Are the things I could grow to love about you.

The way you cringe when I touch your underarms and kneecaps,
The gentle way your lips brush against mine when we kiss.
You don't understand all the things that go through my mind
Each time I think of you.

The sound of your voice,
The touch of your hand,
The smell of your skin,
Just seeing how beautiful you really are...
Could turn the coldest minute into the warmest,
Sunniest, Summer's day.

I fall asleep each night to thoughts of you and us,
And awaken each morning to the anticipation
Of seeing you and being with you again.

I could get past all my fears of getting hurt
Because there's something inside of me telling me
You are someone I could grow to love...

For once, his heart lost its poise,
His faith wavered and yet left unvoiced.
Suffocated of his furtive passion,
He recoiled to depict the bare vexation,
Of longing his heart tore within,
To pine for a solemn heart akin
To the hardest yet the most desirous thing.

Every day and even night,
Be it every minute and second,
A thousand conceived silences
He chose and inclined to confront,
But he couldn't?t ask,
?Is this a mere infatuation??
And no one he could ask,
?Why his apoptotic heart only ends in contemplation??

Those queries, left unanswered,
His heart never had them unconcealed,
And he never disinclined to endure the ordeal,
For he believed to love her, his heart must be sealed,
Though his lonesome heart finally revealed,
Which fatefully left unrequited,
And being trampled upon like dust
Unconsciously by the one he always trusts.

Till one day, God sent His words
To reach and cure his broken heart,
And kindle his heart with a joyous symphony,
Which leads to suturing of his heart,
Till he realized the silence is the most euphonious aphony,
Which resembles the most beauteous memory,
That only provokes his nostalgic tour of every...

A sudden disenchantment,
By God's grace,
He received and hence
Free from every torment,
And his heart danced with joy and bliss,
With hopes and faith that still to the eternity,
With platonic love for her though it?s like nihility,
With glee that he never garnered
With beatitude that he never touched?

I am trapped in she,
She who sleeps,
She whom I protect with my presence,
She whom my eyes have seen no other the like of.
I see the night-time played across her face,
The distant roaming of her eyes.
Though in this world not seeing,
Roaming still,
The moonlight dancing across her face,
Stars just speckles in her eyes now.
No more moon,
No more sun,
Just dancing to dreams.
I wonder how lofty her dreams do fly.
Oh, how I wish I could pluck them from her sky.
To do this, I would live.
To do this, I would die!
I am honored to be allowed to watch her dream...
Her skin shining like autumn hue,
Her hair spinning to infinity
As it falls upon her face.
It is as if I have left the vacuum of space,
And have entered a world so rich
That I must sit and watch
Its sun burning upon my face.
But there I must linger
And be burned.
I am not so tired of dreaming
That I could not dream,
But I dare not sleep
With her beside me,
For while she sleeps, lying here,
Hands upon her chest,
I am living my dream.
I am love,
And love is I.
How could I sleep ?
There is no dream more vivid,
None more desired in my heart,
Than she,
Near.
I have lived an eternity of dreams this night,
And touched not her skin.
I refuse to slip into the night!
Without a struggle !
Without a fight!

The love we had was one so special;
The times we shared will always be in my heart,
How we lived by night and played under the moon,
All the stars seemed to whisper your name.

Those unforgettable times, the beauty in
Your face as I made you smile, and tears of
Happiness when I made you laugh, you are always
In my thoughts when you're not around.

I long to feel your touch, your soft hands
And smooth fingers that always ran down my face.
Oh, how the sparkle in your eyes would shine
So bright each night when you were at my side.

I love you more than anything;
I miss you so much when you're not around.
So hard and so painful living without you;
So lonely and wishing you were here.

So many things we have yet to do.
So much love I have for you; why so far
away must you be. Every moment we shared together,
Every smile and every tear and all you gave me,
Forever in my heart these are cherished moments.

What I saw the other day
was beyond what words could ever say.
A vision of such loveliness,
I fought myself from sweet caress.

At first a twinkle, then a gleam.
But her smile is what made me dream.
She looked my way and flashed her eyes.
I answered with a thousand sighs.

What she said I'll never know.
I was distracted by her heavenly glow.
Listening to her talk and laugh,
I felt she was my other half.

I was enraptured with ecstasy,
all the while she conversed with me.
My Heart was prodding me to steal a kiss.
A passing opportunity I will always miss.

My thoughts of her all through the night,
were of holding her, close and tight.
My fingers feathering through her hair,
and telling her how much I care.

Her eyes, her lips, her hair, her being,
was beyond the realm of natural seeing.
If her Heart and mine would intertwine,
I'd thank God forever she was mine.

What I saw the other day,
these Earthly words could never say

I don't need to use poetic words...
'cause I am not a poet.
I don't need to be an astronomer...
for bringing you the stars.
I don't need to be a writer...
'cause I can write in my memory my feelings.
I don't need to be a knight...
for protecting you from the evil people, my darling.
I don't need to be anything special...
'cause the only thing that's special is you.
The only thing I need to be is to be me...
'cause in me I have a poet, an astronomer,
a writer and a knight.
Well, the thing is... I LOVE YOU!

You are in my mind... 'cause I LOVE YOU!
You are in my soul... 'cause I NEED YOU!
You are in my heart... 'cause I MISS YOU!
You are my everything!... 'cause you are my love.

The thing is... I LOVE YOU!

I don't need thousands of words to tell you how I feel...
I don't need millions of feelings to tell how I love you...
I don't need billions of poems to tell you how I feel for you...
Because the thing is... I LOVE YOU!

Fly me to the Moon
Where there is no one else
But you and me

Where you and I can spend eternity
See the stars as they shine so bright
With you by my side everything is all right

The Moon is the perfect place
For you and me to Live
Away from the storm and rain
From people coming between us

The Moon is where we will grow old and die
Where our memories can
Cherish us by.

I Remember when we first met?
The sexyness of your walk as you approached me.
Remember our first touch?
I trembled, like chills from a winter's breeze.
Remember our first kiss?
The anticipation, wondering how soft your lips were.
Remember when you whispered I Love You?
Remember?

You ever watch a flame?
How it just quivers and wiggles.
It shows the intensity
that it doesn't have anyone to blame.
If you watch it long enough
it seems to be a little figure
just dancin around,
just watching it gives you the giggles.
It's just there, not going anywhere,
seems as if anything it ever does
never results in shame.
It's almost like it's free
with nowhere else to be.
It's something that I long for in my life,
No Shame, No One To Blame,
Just to be that dancin little flame.
I wish that would be
what everyone would see in me.

The Wishing pools
Snow capped mountains for as far as the eye can see.
Two young lovers sit holding hands under a shady green tree.
Beautiful wild flowers grow on the face of a hill.
The middle of the pond is crystal clear and still.
Two lovers sit holding hand in hand.
A stream runs off into the green and fertile land.
They sit and they stare at each other.
Knowing that they were destined to be lovers.
Everyone should have a place like this filled with such love.
And somebody special to gaze with at the stars in the heavens above.
Cynics say love is for losers and fools.
But they can't see us sitting next to the wishing pools.
