POETRY: SLEEPLESS NIGHT

Each night in my life I tend to
dream, wondering what is to happen tomorrow.
I've fallen in love with the woman of my dreams.

I'm so sad, so lonely, why can't we be
together now? I'll give you the time
and space you need in life, just remember
I am here waiting for you.

You're not by my side, I can't sleep, I

can't dream. What am I to do without
your sweet love? Walking around the riverside
thinking so strongly on you, my love. Hold on to
faith, for we shall soon be together.

Through sleepless nights I dream of you,

wishing you were by my side.
I desire you so much, but remember my
love for you grows stronger each passing day.

Here I am in my lonely room
on my lonely bed, as day turns to night
and the summer birds turn to rest. I'll be here

dreaming of you as time slips by, so many
sleepless nights without you by my side.

Though I have never seen your face
I know it well, such mystical grace
Though I have never felt your kiss
I know it well, what heavenly bliss
Though I have never felt your gentle touch
I know it well, my ecstasy is much and gently such
Though I've never heard you whisper "I Love You"
I know this well, our bond deep and oh so true
Though we have never met face to face
We know our love is beyond that physical phase

You are my completion, where my all journeys end
You are my love, my life's course set to sail
You are all that is true, all that is pure
You love me for me, my splendor others never see
You love me so completly, I'm nothing if not satisfied
You love me with all my weakness, you restore my strength
You bring such peace, you cure my ills and sooth my soul
You bring such purity, your wind to my wings let me soar
You accept my love, and that allows me to grow

I love you for so many reasons, others will never believe!

Two souls left their minds out in the cold
Left their hearts to live without their souls

Somewhere out in the world
someone wrong is knocking on both their doors
From this world they will never recover

Around the globe a letter has arrived
from another
True love lost for another day
another life must walk away

What should have been
is left unfinished
left undone

Somewhere out in the world
there is a story of two left untold
She looks out her window
she doesn't see him

Soewhere out in the world
He searches into his memories
He doesn't see her

Another day passes
and they'll be okay
The sun fades into the night
The stars come out ever so bright

Somewhere out in the world
Two hearts lost in the twighlight
Two souls clinging to empty fate

Somewhere out in the world
Two strangers searching aimlessly for one another
As time pasess by
He begins to let her fade
She loses her grip to hold on

Somewhere out in the world
Distant wings reach out to wrap them

Somewhere out in the world
She hears his tender voice
calling out to her heart

Somewhere out in the world
He feels her sweet caress
touching his soul

Somwhere out in the world
they were brought closer together
by a force stronger than fate and destiny

Somewhere out in the world
They are brought to one another
by the truth they feel inside their hearts
they are brought together by a connection
from the heavens and the earth

Somewhere out in the world two hearts
Now stand as one

I'm Just A Simple Hopeless Romantic...

I'm just a simple, hopeless romantic,
Looking for love around every corner.
When it comes to love, i'm just a fanatic,
I fall in love so easy,
But they never seem to commit,
So it makes me so sick.
Why can't it be like a sad country love song?
But in real life it all goes wrong.
Why can't it be like a picture show?
Sometimes I just don't know.
Why do they go for looks instead of brains?
All we want is someone plain,
Not a fool, not a wimp,
Someone with a smile,
That could go on for miles,
Eyes that you can fall into,
And a sense of humor that is never through.
The art of flirting
Is so wonderful.
It's fun to talk,
Make jokes,
And walk.
Dancing is the best,
Getting close is the test.
As you can see, I'm just a simple, hopeless romantic...

I watch you from a distance..it?s the safest way...
as you subsist in your world, not so self-assured,
the ground beneath your feet succumbing to the weight
of all that is within you...
...and yet your back is straight.

You wish to be a scourge in this world of yours...
to level the sanctimonious constraints of those
who surround you and decimate those who negate you
and yet you are the elan vital which saves me
from the banalities of my world.

I long to see myself through your eyes...
to see my skin glistening in your immense heat,
to feel myself through your touch and feel
my malleable skin being shaped into submission,
to taste and take in the desire I exude
whenever you are near enough to take hold of.

For one ephemeral moment you belonged to only me,
a tragic representation of what might have been
had I the audacity to say ?I love you?,
and you the presence of mind to will it of me.

Once upon a lifetime I will find the one I love.
Someone to care, someone to adore, someone surely sent from above.

That someone will be my angel, my everlasting eternal flame.
He will warm my heart slowly, my soul he must tame.

This person must be perfect, attend my every need.
Adore me for who I am, into my heart he must read.

He must deliver into my soul, avoiding all of my faults.
Grasping at the good things, bringing my sadness to a halt.

He must light my life with joy, with every touch caress my soul.
He must make me feel wanted, my life his only goal.

When I look into his eyes I must see the eternal flame
That shines for our relationship, fighting for our name.

When I find that someone, the one with wanting eyes;
I will hold on religiously, I will never say my goodbyes.

For love is precious, it can be sharper than a knife.
So my last word to say is, guard it with your life.

Another day breaks; once again I feel the heat.
Slowly, the sun gracefully rises as it spreads its light.
Embracing my cold heart that waits for its return.
Bringing a promise of a new range of vision.

I was almost completely out of my head.
Then you came into my life, full speed.
Pounding the haven of love in a sound sleep.
Waking my silent yearning, wild and deep.

Your presence brings hope to my solitude.
Every time you smile you reinforce my fortitude.
The smile on my face depicts my undying affection.
My angel, you are my inspiration.

Each life is a path,
a road destine to eternity.
Eventually each path of life crosses the path of love.
Sometimes the paths become as one,
leading together to share eternity.
Other times, love is just an intersection,
in which love will always be there on your path,
but only something you have to overcome
to reach your destiny.

Sometimes I find myself asking where my path is leading me
Is it leading me anywhere.
Am I searching for a love that could never be,
or will my path cross love yet once again?

Each day as I make my way a little further down my path,
I wonder if I have taken the right one,
or will this be yet another blemish
added to my tattered path toward destiny?
How can I be sure I'm headed in the right direction,
I ask myself.
Only I get no answer,
Just The Silent Beating of My Heart.

Every day I ask myself the same question
Is there someone who will love me?
Is there someone who will always hug me, someone to believe in me
Someone to kiss me and love me unconditionally
Is there someone written in the stars, will this person stay?

Or, will this person be far away?
This person could be right in front of me, and I'd never even know it
He could be here all the time and never even show it
Some days it seems hopeless, like there is no one for me

Other days I am hopeful to find that special someone to be
The wait might be long but I guess I'll have to wait
I know someday it'll happen, someday it'll be fate
But everyday till then I'll keep asking myself and everyone

Is There Someone?

Sweet dreams mounted on moments not spent alone?
Lucid memories of one heart being your home?
A sensational fragrance you can smell seeping through pores?
Beating veins so strong you could swear they were yours?
These are all valid descriptions of love.

Remnants of reassurance sparked on his face?
Holy satisfaction purified through grace?
Beauty magnified in radiant fusions?
Reality set in place of granted illusions?
These are all plausible descriptions of love.

A heart pounding is more glorious than victory itself?
One weak body automatically creates unbearable stealth?
A hand locked in hand, instead of the waist?
Willing to wait forever for just one gratified taste?
These are all excellent descriptions of love.

Oceans of emotions overflowing the shore?
One thoughtful glare perks the want for more?
Two souls merged into one driven jolt?
Lightening strikes in unison with thunder bolts?
Are all perfect descriptions of your love.

I long to reach out and touch you.
Every time your lips move,
I long to press mine against yours.
Every time your hands move,
I long to pull them into mine.
Every time the sun shines down,
I long to reach out and touch your beautiful, soft hair.
Every time I see you,
I long to be able to say you're mine.
Every time your arms open,
I long for them to be opening to me.
Every time your eyes look into mine,
I long for you to love me, the way I love you.
Every time you love someone,
I long for that someone to be me.
Every time you kiss,
I long for your kisses to belong to me.
Every time you do anything
I long for that anything to be mine.

that kiss can feel like a minute
but lasts in your heart for eternity

that one touch can seem like eternal bliss
but last in your mind for a lifetime
you wait your whole life for your true love
your true love can stay with you till death
but your soulmate stays with you for eternity
i would stay with you for eternity

I have so much pain in my heart !
and I am not able to cry..
I had, once, so many dreams, so many hopes,
and today, everything is gone..

Waiting for that special person,
I spend my nights looking into the sky..
Not a single star is there
to brighten the way to follow ..to find him..

I have so much pain in my heart !
not a single person by my side
to see me cry... to comfort me in my lonely nights..

I have so much pain in my heart
and with me .. it will die..!!

What were the chances that we were ever to meet?
Is it an act of God , fate as some say, or a journey
We meet, thinking, "AH THIS IS THE ONE".
only for the razor edges of time to tear away the dream
and reveal the all too true picture!.
Do you turn away and say, "no I must find another.."
Do you stay..- It may get better, I won't be decieved -
this still frame of pain in my mind of time ..is only a
horrible illusion.!
What are the chances?

You are my black and white, my darkness and my light.
You take away my fear, the only one I hold dear.
You cheer me up when times are blue, when no one else has a clue.

While I sit and write this poem,
I sit and think of you;
I have no notion who you are,
You?re someone I can?t view.

I?m confident you?re out there,
Beautiful and real;
Probably smiling and laughing with a friend,
Giggling over a meal.

I like to imagine, now and then,
Our daily conversation
Of work and life and kids and school,
And building a foundation.

How can we discuss such things so soon?
Are we moving too fast? Wait,
Now I remember, we?ve never met.
I can?t ask you for a date.

In my mind you?ll joke and wink,
And of course I?ll do the same.
This love affair I have with you
May bear the name... insane.
