POETRY: I THIRST FOR YOU

love is life reborn
one life turned to another
living two lives as one

2

While I sit and write this poem,
I sit and think of you;
I have no notion who you are,
You?re someone I can?t view.

I?m confident you?re out there,
Beautiful and real;
Probably smiling and laughing with a friend,
Giggling over a meal.

I like to imagine, now and then,
Our daily conversation
Of work and life and kids and school,
And building a foundation.

How can we discuss such things so soon?
Are we moving too fast? Wait,
Now I remember, we?ve never met.
I can?t ask you for a date.

In my mind you?ll joke and wink,
And of course I?ll do the same.
This love affair I have with you
May bear the name... insane.

I have two hands to touch you,
As a sign I am there.
I have two arms to hug you,
As a sign I really care.
I have two eyes to watch you,
As a sign I know your there.
I have two legs to walk with you,
As a sign I'm always there by your side.

I crossed oceans and traveled to numerous cities
in search of a special love.
One who would fulfill the emptiness in my heart.

Trying to make dreams come true only created nightmares,
building relationships out of faceless, loneliness,
heading to deadend companionships.

I spent mindless years compromising my life for false love,
hurting only myself in the end.
Only to give up the ghost of hope, until now.

God allowed me to journey though the labyrinth of human frailties,
and then lead me into the corridors of light,
at that threshold stood you...
The spiritual soul mate I only dreamed of in the shadows of my mind.

I no longer had to travel, only open the door of my heart
to what GOD had sent me.
One filled with HIS spirit and sharing His word unselfishly...
Now I am able to understand loves completeness
sharing GOD'S spirit with you, my love.

When the wind comes swirling a fall palette of oak and paper birch,
And the breath of morning is a soft fog upon your lips,
The blessings of summer linger in your eyes and in your arms.

Then, when the shimmer of Winter's stars
Recast rough fields into pastures of soft blue silk,
I scratch your image on frost-crusted panes
And find you laughing in every icy reflection
And dancing at every hearth.

In Spring you are there in every verdant expectation,
In every budding promise,
There, in every reawaking stream
And in every captive sun drop, gleaming from its dewy prison.
You are there, too, gleefully present,
In the chorus of newborn voices impatiently tuning
For Summer's grand oratorio.

Then
Paced by the keen rhythms of our own desires
At last we dance,
You and I in the full radiance of the High Solstice,
Twirling in the buttery moonlight,

We;
Transformed, immortal, a new constellation gleaming in the night sky,
Twin diamonds set together,
Forever.

It's like...
I can still feel you
All around me
In everything I do
But the truth is- you're gone

You're gone
I wake up each morning
I stare into the waking sun
I see your beautiful face
You're smiling
It's like you're here

I make my way down the hallway
Tip-toe into the bathroom
Just in case you're in the shower
I'd peak in at you, surprize you
I'd tell you I love you
I still look for you

I go walking along the creek
Sit on the benches, feed the ducks
I can still see you, running to me
Down the hills, through the sprinklers
In your white shirt
I reach out to you with open arms
But I cannot seem to touch you

I go to the movies
Of course to see one that you'd love
I sit in the back, all alone
Well, not really
Because it feels like you're there, with me
But when I reach out to place my hand on your's
I come up empty handed

In the darkness, I still sit
At our special place, remember
The crickets, the stars
I still remember the way it felt
Holding you close to me
Your body
But you're not there with me anymore

At night, while I lay in bed
Before I fall fast asleep
I wrap my arms around you
I hold you tight
Then I see the truth
It's not you but only a pillow

With every second, minute, hour that passes
It feels like... I don't know
I lose a little bit more of you
When, really, you have been gone for so long
Our memories though, they kept you alive to me
But with time, memories fade
As will you

The saddest thing is
You're not dead at all
Actually you are alive and well
I am the one who is dead
Dead to you
And the hardest thing of all is...
I can't seem to kill you

What lies beyond the misty veil?

What moves beneath the watery skin?

What turns will let our love prevail?

Is fate the only synonym?

Dreaming
of you in
my life
in every
step I take...
In every move
I make to
reach you
where you are...
In my sincere
heart, patiently
waiting to see
your face...
To embrace you,
and feel the
warmth of
your arms...
To teach me
how to love
and please
you...
And how to
be lost in
your passion,
being tamed
for your pleasure...
Dreaming
of you, my
love and my
joy, I thirst
for you.

During the seasons though it constantly changes,
My love for you will always remain the same.
Even when people leave you high and dry,
You can always count on me. I am always by your side.
As you arise out of your bed in the morning, even as you lie
in your bed at night.
Your Sleep will be sweet, because I sustain you.
Unto you I promised to be faithful & true
Whatever you need
come unto me.
I will supply all of it according to my riches in glory.
Cast all your cares upon me, for you I care.
Wherever you go, I'll always be there.
Whatever problems you have don't solve it on your own,
Let me handle it for you, meanwhile stand strong.
Through the days and nights that passs by,
I will carry you. Truth I'll speak unto you, words of life.
Trust in me with all your heart
And lean not on your own understanding.
I will instruct you and teach you into the way you're going.
I'll counsel and watch over you. Life with me will never be boring.
I'll turn your sorrow into joy, mourning into laughter.
I'll be your rock in the weary land,
The one who'll lend you a helping hand.
All that you need and ever wanted.
In me there's life and in abundance.
I'll be your hiding place.
Protecting you from all trouble,
surrounding you with songs of deliverance.
I'll be the one that you can spend time with
Anytime, anyplace, anywhere.
My Love Letter the Holy Word, in your heart let it always be there.
Let not your heart be troubled nor let it be afraid.
For trouble won't last always.
Every moment, hour, second, Here am I.
Wwith you, I'll never leave you. I'm always here,
Come unto me there's no need to hide.
Through it all, I'll always be with you.
Even when you're unfaithful, I'll remain true.
My love for you will never fail.
My will for you is that all goes well.

Nurtured fetal feelings conceived on lover's lips.
Blossomed florescence flowered from her countless kind kisses.
Those petals of sweet wine, from which this lover sips.
Oh, how I wish, above all other wishes,
for you my love, my midwife to be!
Extract these plausible emotions from my heart's womb,
for pride prevents their preferred birth.
Grant my grave sentiments life
?unrelenting and undying mirth?
and my ardent fervor shall never see its tomb
