POETRY: ECSTASY OF ROMANCE

When a young man cares for a girl,
his thoughts don't stray to pleasure of the flesh, but instead
to thoughts of beauty.
He thinks of moonlight walks under the starry blanket
of the night.
He thinks of holding a young woman in his arms when watching
a movie, and comforting her in times of sorrow.
He takes pleasure in seeing her smile after a rose has been given,
and his heart fills with excitement when somthing wonderful
happens to her.
He looks at her, not at her face or any other outside features,
but at her and who she is.
He listens to her stories, whether dull or exciting, and laughs
with her.
When a young man cares for a girl, yes, he looks for beauty,
not the kind that strikes the eye but the kind that strikes
the heart.

I've seen the star of heaven
and touched its burning glow.
I've seen the power of love
and felt how strong it grows.
I've been lost in the clouds
and flown above the trees.
I've felt how rejection burns
and drops me to my knees.
I've seen how people kiss
and I know how strong they care.
I've waited my whole life
for someone to just be there.
I've felt how a broken heart
will bury its pain so deep.
I've spent many lonely nights,
crying myself to sleep.
I've seen how life will pick you up
and take you for a ride.
I've seen how life will throw you down
and make you run and hide.
I've seen so many things in life
and nothing will compare.
I've gained so many things from life
for you and I to share.
I've seen many beautiful things
and I'm sure there's plenty more,
But you're the only precious gift
that my heart has eyes for.

That you seared this soul,
deeply into your own it grows;
Inside the storm this heart
moves as the winds blow.

That your mind has found
its path to my desires;
Showing me movement
and the force of your fires.

That your body fits into mine,
taking what it knows from before;
How I have made love to you and
how you have opened the door.

I would come to you,
no matter where;
Would give everything,
Oh how I would share.

I will love you no matter what,
traverse the most tempestous skies;
for a sheer moment with you inside,
your warmth pulling out my sighs.

Oh I will always belong to you.
Faith, Passion and Love all so True.
and now I give them
Only for you.

When I am alone at night
I let my mind open
And my body relax
For I know you are there
In the deepest part of my soul
You are the one who holds the key
To this once broken heart
Your love has mended it
Made it alive again
I close my eyes, and we are together
We make love like no one before
Our bodies become one
Our souls entwined
We've said it before and I'll say it again
You are me and I am you
This love is meant to be, we both feel it
I will give you all of me
And ask the same of you
Together forever, Me and You

His heart is everlasting, and he has an unbreakable soul,
He keeps from his friends his one and only goal.

The one, barely out of reach, brass ring,
The reason is that in his mind he hears angels sing.

He is willing to help her broken heart.
And after each rejection he will return to start.

He will tell her something good and honest just to receive her smiles,
If she had to leave, then to her he?d walk a thousand miles.

He would spend nights thinking of her in his sleep,
Because it is her natural beauty that he?d try his hardest to keep.

He is even willing to let her without a fight go.
And he would never try to let his negative feelings show.

They would both part in separate directions,
Both looking for new possible connections.

Each try to find an emotional healing trick,
But it is hard for the man,
Because he has realized he is nothing more than a hopeless romantic.

And his life is not full without love in his hand

Did I tell you
I envy the honeybee
That hovers around your neck
Attracted to the scent of your perfume?

Did I tell you
I envy the bandage
That has been entrusted to heal
The paper cut on your finger?

Did I tell you
I envy the words
On the pages you read
That dance in the reflections of your eyes?

Did I tell you
I envy the air
That inhales cool and exhales warm
From your soul?

Did I tell you
I envy the pencil
That you hold as you write
Words on paper?

Did I tell you
I envy the flush
That colors your face
When you laugh and smile?

If I have failed,
As I have and will,
My fondest desire is
That you know how I feel.

The ceaseless symphony of a tranquil sea
echoes through the canyons of my being
filling my emptiness with
thoughts of you.

As the pounding waves caress the shore
so too does my heart pound
with thoughts of you
endlessly etched in my essence.

A lonely pelican glides on currents
of warm wafting breezes.
And I gaze in wonder at its freedom
And as it hovers above the shore
So too does my heart hover
in awe of your essence.

The cry of the gulls
in their solitary nonchalance
Reminds me of the child, the baby
crying on the inside
To be held and nurtured
in a loving embrace.

The sea, in its endless surfsong
sings words of love
And I,
I sit by the shore
Enveloped
in the tide of your love.

If I was a flower,
I would bloom between your hands.
If I was spring,
I would make of your garden
A carpet of flowers.
If I was a star,
I would shine only for you,
And if I was the sun,
I would warm your heart
Day by day.
If I was an angel,
I would stay near you,
Night and day,
To help and protect you.
If I was the rain,
I would flow on you
As a cool and soft shower.
If I was a tree,
I would keep your house
Shielded from my shadow.
If I was the wind,
I would whisper tender words
In your ears,
And would softly caress your skin.
If I was a tear,
I would never pour on your cheek.
If I was the past,
I would have made our roads
Cross before...
And if I was God,
I would never have allowed your heart
To suffer and be torn.

I'm nothing of that,
Simply a man lost
On the other side of the world,
Who loves you passionately,
Who loves you madly.

But, like a flower,
I've bloomed
Between your oh, so tender hands.
Like a star,
I'll eternally shine
In the sky of your life.
Like the sun,
I'll always be there to warm your heart...

Like a guardian angel,
I want to be there forever, close to you,
To take care and protect you.
Like the rain,
I want to make your life
As cool as an eternal spring.
Like the wind,
I want to whisper my love in your ears
And softly caress your cheek...
And as your wife,
I want you to be mine
Just as I want to be yours forever.

I want you to be the happiest woman on Earth.
I'll go on loving you until my last breath.
I want nothing more
Than to share our lives,
Hand in hand, for eternity,
In peace, love, and happiness,
Because you're my half, my soulmate,
And I'm nothing without you...

Fire burned on the
ocean of life's pleasure,
Desire grew in the
land of love adventure,
When you and I
rollicked in the
ecstasy of romance...
And no one was there
but the echoes of our
heartbeats were heard
all over the world.

Mood rose in the
stillness of night's venture,
Emotion deepened at the
speed of light and thunder,
When you and I
embraced in the
paradise of love...
And no one was there
except our hearts
dancing to the tune
of the night.

Peace reigned in the
wilderness of love's treasure,
Horizon widened in the
forest of life's seduction,
When you and I
were at the peak
of dreams and yearnings...
Tears rolled down our eyes
passion filled up our hearts
and, together as one,
we broke all the barriers.

You're the last thing I think about at night,
A minute doesn't go by where I don't think about you.

You're the joy of my life,
The healer of my pain,
And I don't even know you...

I know you exist,
I you're out there somewhere,
Needing me as much as I need you.

So, everyday I will wait,
Everyday I will wait for you to rescue me,
Everyday I will wait to meet you.

the soft touch of those irrisistable lips.
the sexy stare from those sexy eyes.
the sweet feeling of being with you.
the trembling in my heart of me saying I LOVE YOU!
your beautiful smile on that fine face.
your dying stare that sping me over.
your delicious tongue that burns me deep.
your smooth body laying against mine.
your passionate spell, that has got my heart all twined.
it's the way you move when you sleep.
it's the way you talk, when your lips part.
it's those sexy eyes that caresses my body.
it's your sweet touch that keeps me close.
it's all about your love that keeps wanting to be a better man
when the soft touch of a butterfly's wing.
All that defined to me...
Is what your love means and brings to me.
