POETRY: SWEET BODY CLOSE TO ME

A woman who cannot come out from the light
as she breaks free from the midnights bright
This moon that she has taken over with unknowing
sends the souls that she touches, softly glowing
Inner peace and will, strong is she
as the men that follow have taken flee
from the powers that she withholds
her mind's thoughts and her mysterious fantasy
let men with knowledge know that she is the key
So let her moonbeams shine on bright
as she is warming the lonely souls of the night
And as any man would surely want to know
all the special things... the moonlight lady holds.

Face to face, I look into your beautiful, brown eyes
As I dread telling you my last good byes
Holding each other tightly, we swear never to forget
What we have and what is not over yet
Memories we?ve shared 
Where my darling princess seems to never fail
Your voice, your smell, your laugh, your smile,
Keeps me on cloud nine and even up an extra mile
My precious angel how can you stay?
For I promise I will take care of you, day to day
I finally realize you are my true love
Sent to me from up above.
Love for you is stored deep in my heart
Along with the memories of us, in which I will never let part
Struggling to keep you close as time goes by
I close my eyes and begin to cry
A kiss to me, A kiss to you,
What are we left to do?
You whisper to me: Today we?re together, along with tomorrow, too
As long as we are in each other?s hearts ?it? will always stay true
As I get in the car and you shut the door
We look at each other, and you open it once more
A tear falls from your face and you slowly let go
Shutting the door and letting me know: You?ll be waiting for me.
With your hand on the window, you turn, and back away
Letting go and telling me you?ll never forget today.
You?ll always be with me no matter what I do,
Because I will always have that special picture of you!

When i hold your sweet body close to me 
This Love inside me will show for all to see
And when i look into your beautiful eyes
This bond we share will be no surprise
The love i have for you will last forever
And this will make me smile when we're together
The love we share is so very pure
My love will grow sronger for you, of this i'm sure

Echoes resound in
the chasms of
a deathly gloom
Emptiness here in the
dust of a thousand

I am an orange
We're in the same category
I mean we are both fruit
So why can't we love each other?
I know we are not the same
But who wants the same?
I want different, so it keeps me thinking
I know the others might laugh at you
I know they'll tease
An apple with an orange
I know they might hurt you
But I will be there for you
To make you smile and laugh
It will be hard
But if it's easy it's not for real
Please learn to love me
Even though we are not the same
You are a woman
I am a man
We are in the same category
I mean we are both people 
So why can't we love each other?

A wish was once made by a heart so true 
for lasting love and what it can do

There was happiness and riches there was glory and fame
there was struggle and hardship, there was sorrow and shame
There was time like the present the future and the past
there was hope by this heart for a true love that would last

Then it all happened within a blink and a flash
the heart found its true love that throughout time would last

So hopefully you now see what I'm trying to say to you
is life had no meaning till I fell In Love With You...

I'll love you until the sun doesn't shine
and still even then
I'll love you through time.

If the rain doesn't fall
and new day hasn't waned,
in the dark of the night
I'd love you the same.

If the snow fell in Egypt
and the sun beat down here,
I'll still love you more
year after each year.

If the day comes 
the stars fall from heaven
I'd love you that much,
oh, that plus eleven.

Snow flakes don't amount
to how much I love you,
Rain drops can't explain it
they're far too few.

The ocean can't explain 
the depth of my soul,
It's much much too shallow
and much much too cold.

Sunshine begins to tell you 
the warmth in my heart,
Winds bring us together 
if ever apart.

No matter the time 
no matter the place,
With you in my life
nothing shall replace.

I love you.
Every single part of you.
The parts of you that love the parts of me.

Even when I'm in a bad mood,
I know you can always make me smile,
and I know you love me.

I even love the not-so-nice parts of you,
parts that make you moody,
parts that make you want to just

get away from everyone for a while,
even get away from me for a while.
And that's okay!

Everyone needs time alone
or else they'd go crazy.
Just remember... if you ever need me,

I'm always here for you,
and I'll always care.
Even when no one else does.

Even if it seems trivial and stupid,
you can tell me.
I'll always listen,

because I love you.
Every single part.
And I just wanted you to know.

In humble supplication, I plead on bended knee
don't walk away and leave me - darling stay by me!
Our troubles and our hardships have hardened both our hearts,
but time and peace - togetherness - can work-out missing parts.

My need for you is heightened - by every passing hour.
The days have turned to ashes - the nights are bleak and dour.
Memories of you linger 'round every door and wall,
(I even hear your footsteps and see you in the hall.)

Oh love! I beg and beg you - please, don't you turn away.
Let's start anew - discard the past - remove the skies of gray.
It only takes a "trying" - to put two hearts in tune.
We need reminding now and then - of "what we had in June".

So, dearest, please forgive me - for any wrong or crime,
or lack of understanding, which can so - our souls begrime.
Say you WILL forgive me - please turn around and stay.
Release my bond - return to me - begin another day.

How can you love someone you have never seen
with a feeling so passionate
that it makes your heart skip a beat
at the sound of their voice?

A love with such a passion that life could have never 
known in your wildest dreams
for this love I would take the chance of heartbreak
but to feel one moment in my life 
with such a passion, such a feeling would be unbelievable
I would give you your wants, needs, love, and my life-
to deny such a love that I have for you
would be the most fatal of mistakes

For the passion of your presence, the sound of your voice
would make my world filled with love and laughter
so I am giving this to you with all my heart, soul, and 
I will always be there, no matter what, so
this passion for you
will always be true...

I love you because my hand fits so perfectly with yours.
Because our lips melt together like candy.

I let my mind open

I look at you and wonder, does love really feel
this way?
As I look into your eyes I wonder what is on your mind.

beat rapidly.
Your smell overwhelms me.
As we look into each other's eyes.

ast night I dreamed of you again and heard you call to me,
And I went back in memory to the way things used to be... 
Your eyes were full of caring and tender as your smile,
For we were young again, my love- 
for just a little while.

You reached across and touched my face, the way you used to do,
Then in my dream you whispered, "Alex, I love you."
And I stood tall, my head held high, unbent from years of toil,
For we were young again, my love- 
for just a little while.

When I awoke, alone and old, I left you in my dream,
Where you stay young and beautiful, in a world forever green.
Just dreams of you are all that's left - to ease life's final mile,
To see your face, to feel your touch... 
for just a little while.

Heart of polished silver,
Body of flame and steel,
I'm restless with words
I cannot say;
With words I can only feel.

My deep inadequate soul screams your name
You are nowhere around to hear its agony.

Extended far beyond the clouds of heaven
My distinctly frail arms reach out for you, 
But you are not there to hold.

Dying in your arms would far exceed ecstacy, 
And holding you forever 
would surpass every great moment put together in my life.

One night without you is an eternity in hell, 
And a lifetime without you is Hell all in itself.

The world I used to know has now withdrawn itself, 
And I am somewhere not located on any earthly map.

I am in a world filled with dreams and aspirations of only one being.
This new place is filled with visions of only you.

The grass that it portrays gets its green from your eyes.
The air it contains is from your sweet breath.

The plasticity of the clouds are from your skin
And the rivers flow from your heart.

Your sweet songs are sung by the sparrows.
And the comfort I feel here is from your love.

The only death I can perceive in this world is waking up from here
But my mind and soul will never depart from your world.

As time goes on parts of me will venture back to reality
But a piece of me will always live within this domain.

When we speak of soul mates 
do we not really mean 
heart, mind and soul mates.
Because, would we really want someone 
who only loved us for part of the whole.

I think a soul mate is someone who sees the flaws, 
yet, loves you more for them, 
as they define who you are, 
and who always look below... for the beauty, 
instead of judging by the shell.

They see our weaknesses but never take advantage. 
Instead, they lend strength when needed,
without being intrusive. They are our companions 
while letting us still be ourselves, 
and giving us room to grow.

It's someone who, while not sharing all your interests, 
will respect yours and try to keep a open mind... always.
But most of all a soul mate is someone to trust 
with your most precious gift and trust 
that you, also, will keep it safe for them.. 

your love, and theirs.

If you counted all the stars in heaven,
You would see how many wishes were spent.. in vain.
Searching for the dream, that could have been,
Until I said your name.

One Star heard my tears
And fell from the sky,
Into the fire... 
I see in your eyes.

Though you are far from my arms,
Look to the cloudless night above
And you will see the one star, 
That held the power... of love.

Deep inside my heart, I see you standing there 
Like you were meant to be, as the heavens air.

Even though at times, we are so far apart,
I have your beauty, your eyes, your smile sketched inside my heart.

All together from the moment you stepped into my life,
I prayed, hoped, and wanted you to become my beautiful, caring wife.

But one thing that must happen before we even start,
God, my savior in Heaven, needs to check my heart.

Because without HER, as we live our lives forever,
We have no chance for peace in our hearts, and we won't be together.

BUT, deep inside my HEART, and I believe this is true,
I can't live without your smile, your HEART.....I can't live without YOU.

You slip in around the edges of my 'here' and 'now'
wrap your strong hand as firmly around my intestines 
as you do around your chain saw or a hammer, 
or is it as gently as you hold the nail-
ready to let go as fast as air...
should the hammer slip left or right 
and threaten your thumb.

You do not hold on at all, do you;
Evaporating if I turn to lean 
with relish on your ferone scent?
I can be driving... innocently 
down some mossy road 
deep in the forest of, who knows where, 
and your hand comes slipping... like smoke.

I catch a scent of it's musty familiarity 
and foolishly draw in a deep breath 
trying to identify it;
trapped in your spell 
and lost in the fog of memories and realities 
I stumble forward into my today
tricked and cheated and wet with sweat and tears
...no richer, no poorer.

I appear the same- before and after
like a victim explaining that aliens have touched them 
...but left no mark

Consumed with the thought of your departure,
The savor of your lips fresh in my mouth.
Interrogating your eyes this evening,
I searched for your expectations of me.
The words you used were inconsistent
With the gaze in your eyes.
I knew I was isolated from your thoughts,
Yet my craving for your warmth 
Pushed me forward.
Physically there was no challenge,
But mentally you were vague.
An allotment of my heart,
Thought you were my destiny.
If only I distinguished how pitiful I really was.
Your face is sketched into my mind and soul.
Soon the illusion of your affection for me
Will pass?

sonnets and recipes, 
and no one e?er might see the truth 
of all this, for, exposed I?d be dethroned 
and ruling an empire 
is always difficult. 

who am I to love or seek you, 
seek love or expect to claim love, lover, and beloved; 

oh save me, it isn?t fair, 
to be trapped in chastity belts; 
but you?re mine, and I?m yours ? 

so come home, so I might see your face,

My mind runs in circles around itself,
trying to elude the final thoughts of you.
My heart skips every other beat,
knowing the less it beats,
the less of my heartache it will suffer.

My feelings mix together, hoping to confuse me
so that I might not feel loss.
My body goes weak and numb so that
I won't long for your touch.

Yet in my dizzy mind,
In every heartbeat that has not been skipped,
In my confused feelings,
In my tired body,
There is no escaping You

I lie in the iridescent orange sun,
Daydreaming furiously.
Are you here too?
Come and join me.
The waves are soft and green.
I see your figure in the distance.
Feeling longing;
Come here.
It is you, the only one I care about.
Drawing me closer,
Your eyes are locked with mine.
A warm embrace,
Your gentleness,
Is all I need right now.
As the foamy sea
Kisses our toes,
I feel a wind of emotions
Blowing us together.
Captured by my love
I fall into you.
Enjoying your presence;

and embrace the twilight
that glimmers in your eyes

I want to become snowflakes
falling ... falling
melting into the hollows of your body

Your far flung music
haunts my sleep
like waves arising
from a tumultuous sea

But you are beyond my touch
like the vast overarching sky
or a rainbow, whose colors
fade into dusk

I can recall your softness,
and those quiet mornings
when we felt our oneness

Where have you gone?
Are you alone now?
Do you still feel
my hands reaching for you
in the stillness of night?

An indescribable pain begins at the center of my heart
and races throughout my body.
It captures my breath.
Takes hold of my limbs.
Battles my will not to cry.
My mind argues this intruder,
saying its secret is a lie.
But the pain is triumphant,
revealing the denied secret...
You will never feel the same as I.
