Sleepless nights of endless fantasies. Blood rushing, heart-pounding feelings run throughout my body. Her embrace...powerful arms rapped around my body. I am comforted by her presence, I am safe within her arms. The feeling...my body senses these emotional changes. I am clueless to what this all means. When we part my body aches, my eyes are filled with tears, and my mind filled with fantasies. She is on my mind day and night, at times it may fill me with fright. PERSONAL/LETTER: DEAR SOULMATE ...WILL TODAY BE THE DAY YOU FIND ME
Dear Soul mate,
I don’t know where you are, but I know you exist. I feel you in my heart and I see you in my dreams.
Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around.
You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more.
You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you.
When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement.
They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself.
Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and showyou the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful.
There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around.
You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are.
The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever.
Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant.
Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all.
A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face.
In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby.
Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you.
You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon.
You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. Notes Stirred in my minds eye, in a wonderful harmony
A combination of heavenly trumpets, and flutes,
Joined by the voices of angels singing of grace.
A mass of confusion filled me with curiosity,
As to what these notes, and voices pertained to,
Why such beautiful sounds dwelled inside of me.
The realization came to me that these notes,
These heavenly notes rang out only on occasion,
At certain moments in time that seemed to obstruct all thought.
Slowly I selected these frequent moments from the few,
Learning that the melody I heard occurred on three such occasions,
Three occasions I took for granted all too often.
The notes and voices occurred when I was with a dear friend,
A friend I'd dare call my closest of confidants in life,
Our friendship had grown greater without my foreknowledge.
The notes were unmistakable when I'd cast my gaze upon her,
Bells and chimes sounded as if they were a beacon,
A beacon of some importance I never truly understood.
Angels sang when I?d stare into her crystal blue eyes,
My heart nearly crept into my throat, preventing me from speech,
Allowing me to appreciate the sparkle of her eyes.
Violins played when I?d wrap my arms around her,
Telling of a story that was much greater than I thought,
A story about more than friendly embrace.
Trumpets heralded when I kissed her velvet lips,
Everything seemed to slow, even the blasting trumpets,
Soon they slowed to a beautiful waltz of affection.
At that moment, I knew what the chorus all meant,
They were telling me of something much greater than friendship,
It was a heavenly symphony, playing a requiem of love.

and so she missed that kiss.
Fourteen she was;
and so in love, a bubbly little miss.
The moon was bright, and street lamps lite,
so this was not the place.
She backed away, and did not
see the pain upon his face.
She knew the kissing rules you see,
and thought she was clever.
She couldn't know that boy would think,
not now, meant not ever.
She loved that boy till the day,
her true love came along.
She married young and dwelled,
on yesterday's sad song.
It matters not at all these days,
she's not fourteen, she's 54.
a grandma now who laughs and loves,
and surely knows the score.
A marriage long and filled with love,
a husband who is dear.
He's never heard her speak those words
"not now sweet love not here."

Standing under the moonlight,
He lightly kisses her lips.
Wanting to stay within this moment forever,
He doesn't want to let her go.
Standing under the moonlight,
She slowly moves closer to him.
Hoping he feels the same as her,
She slips her hand into his.
Lying side by side, looking at the stars,
A falling star soars across the sky,
With no known destination.
He makes a wish, "Let me have her forever,
Help me tell her I love her."
She makes a wish,
"I want to be able to look
Into his eyes and see his love,
Help me express my new found love for him."
Here they begin a journey,
A journey through life and love.
He holds her in his arms and tells her,
"I've waited a long time for a gal like you.
I never want to let you go. I love you."
He wakes up and rolls over.
"Honey, I love you..."
Lying beneath the stars
He sweeps her up in his arms.
Standing under the moonlight,
He lightly kisses her soft lips...

make us the people we are.
That's why we need to make
every moment count.
We need to see the rain

The people in our lives are
there because they care & love you.

they may not come back.

My armor is thick metal, so weapons won't kill me,
but it'll never keep you from getting to my heart.

Notes Stirred in my minds eye, in a wonderful harmony
A combination of heavenly trumpets, and flutes,
Joined by the voices of angels singing of grace.
A mass of confusion filled me with curiosity,
As to what these notes, and voices pertained to,
Why such beautiful sounds dwelled inside of me.
The realization came to me that these notes,
These heavenly notes rang out only on occasion,
At certain moments in time that seemed to obstruct all thought.
Slowly I selected these frequent moments from the few,
Learning that the melody I heard occurred on three such occasions,
Three occasions I took for granted all too often.
The notes and voices occurred when I was with a dear friend,
A friend I'd dare call my closest of confidants in life,
Our friendship had grown greater without my foreknowledge.
The notes were unmistakable when I'd cast my gaze upon her,
Bells and chimes sounded as if they were a beacon,
A beacon of some importance I never truly understood.
Angels sang when I?d stare into her crystal blue eyes,
My heart nearly crept into my throat, preventing me from speech,
Allowing me to appreciate the sparkle of her eyes.
Violins played when I?d wrap my arms around her,
Telling of a story that was much greater than I thought,
A story about more than friendly embrace.
Trumpets heralded when I kissed her velvet lips,
Everything seemed to slow, even the blasting trumpets,
Soon they slowed to a beautiful waltz of affection.
At that moment, I knew what the chorus all meant,
They were telling me of something much greater than friendship,
It was a heavenly symphony, playing a requiem of love.

They were only two crystal Dove figurines,
But.. somehow, different from all others;
They were supposed to take on special meanings,
When divided between two lovers.
Designed to carry a message of love,
If it really came from the heart,
But, also destined to be miserable,
As long as they were apart.
I know I loved you,
I know you really cared.
We gave them charge to keep our memories strong,
While I remained here and you had to go there.
You took one with you - I kept the other,
And we both made a vow -
To bring them together again,
If the Fates allowed.
How cruel life was,
To keep those Doves apart
For I know those little birds
Were miserable in their hearts
You say you placed yours
Where you could see it,
All these many years,
Did you look at it often?
Did you remember my parting tears?
Time... that ol' thief.. hid my Dove away,
But after I talked with you,
I searched and found it one fine day
And all my memories were renewed.
It was broken to pieces....
As was my heart,
When I finally faced the fact,
We would always be apart.
But all is not lost,
Nothing can make me release,
This broken little Dove......
No!!!! not even one little piece!
I'll keep what's left of it safe,
