THOUGHTS: ARE SOME PEOPLE MORE VALUABLE THAN OTHER?

I was watching EXTRA and ET tonight and i notice that our society, with its obsession with external power and celebrity tells us that some people are more valuable than other. Some people are stars, and others aren't. And if you're not a star, then you don't matter. This idea is absolutely false and ego based. Conditioning that we somehow may not measure up in the eyes of other. That some people are more valuable than other is something that is drummed into us. But this comparison and judgement and competition creates separation from our fellow human being that is the source of so much suffering. If you strip away all the conditioning, education, money, and so on....what is left? The same humanity and spark that is in everybody...none is more valuable than another. No matter where we are born, or into what culture, all of us have similar aspirations toward love, family and spirit. They may see very different from one another, but all possess innate humanness. When you see how we are all the same instead of how we are different, you realize there is nothing you need to do to make yourself lovable.....you already are.
